Why Wind And Solar Will Never Meet The World’s Energy Needs

Are we heading toward an all-renewable energy future, spearheaded by wind and solar? Or are those energy sources wholly inadequate for the task?

Here’s the reality.

Oil, natural gas, and coal provide 84% of the world’s energy. That’s down just two percentage points from twenty years ago.

And oil still powers nearly 97% of all global transportation.

Contrary to headlines claiming that we’re rapidly transitioning away from fossil fuels, it’s just not happening. Two decades and five trillion dollars of governments “investing” in green energy and we’ve barely moved the needle.

This was supposed to be easy. Why is it so hard? In a word: rocks.

To get the same amount of energy from solar and wind that we now get from fossil fuels, we’re going to have to massively increase mining.

By more than 1,000%. This isn’t speculation. This is physics.

Mark Mills, a Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of The Cloud Revolution, compares the energy dream to the energy reality. Watch:

“California is banning sales of gasoline powered vehicles, and says everybody has to drive an electric car. They also say they don’t have enough electricity to supply their current needs”

California and New York are like test beds to see how much tyranny, big brother and Nanny State nonsense people will accept. They both are almost like living in a different country. Especially in the major cities. Also Connecticut, Colorado, New Jersey and Washington State are the next wanna be Californias.
There is a mass migration out of California as we speak. Even the hard core Californians have seemingly had enough.
As long as so called “governments” (read owned and controlled vassal states that are merely middle management for the international Jew cabal that enslaves humanity) are allowed to tighten the noose of nonsense on their subjects, it will always continue to get worse. That and asleep at the wheel sheeple “citizens” that seem to enjoy taking it up the arse daily with no lube and no happy ending.
That’s what’s up. Had enough yet?

AND…..they are banning small gas motors, like those that gardeners use. All electric lawn mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers, their trucks will have to carry a ton of batteries or a generator, electric of course. We have IDIOTS making insane laws that are idiotic. Nary a neuron was disturbed making these laws.

What about mining enough lithium for 20-30 million more EV batteries? Good luck. An EV battery will end up costing more than the stupid EV.

Last winter in Connecticut, I drove by a former farm now turned into 20 acres of solar panels. There had just been a decent snowfall and the solar panels were buried for 3-4 days.
I’m not sure if anyone read the ‘fine print’, but solar panels do not function both at night and when buried in snow…

We are close to seeing highly efficient collectors of infrared. We are lacking a diode that operates fast enough to rectify those high frequencies. There is ongoing work to create a battery from less hazardous and more abundant materials. That will need to happen before the green energy revolution can materialize. In the meantime powerful people will try to get everyone spending money on inefficient very expensive junk. They bought in on the ground floor and the more we spend the richer they get.
There is a danger that they will make petroleum products too expensive for most to use and so try to force us into some sort of subservience.

      Hi Roame,
Infrared light has lower frequency and longer wavelengths than visible or Ultra Violet light. There will never be a “Green Reveloution” since the whole greenhouse gas theory is garbage and utterly devoid of science.

Moonshine is made from corn usually do you may as well use ethanol since we are supposed to goling into a food shortage corn will be getting more expensive than oil from fossil fuels
