The Final Real Images Of Venus – What Have We Found?

In this video, we look at the first real images of Venus and what has been found. If you’ve ever wondered if space discoveries can be made used data that has been stored for decades, then that is exactly what happened with NASA’s Magellan spacecraft.

Magellan took pictures of Venus more than 30 years ago and at the time, scientists were focused on mapping the planet’s surface and studying its dense atmosphere. What they didn’t realise was that they were capturing something far more extraordinary.

These images led to a sudden discovery beneath the dense poisonous clouds of Venus. All this time there has been active volcanos on Venus, this ground-breaking discovery changes our understanding of not only Venus but also of other planets in our solar system.

    Hi PSI Readers.

I gave a poster presentation at the International Colloquium On Venus, August 10-12, 1992 at the Pasadena California and attended al the lecture sessions. Some of which dealt with volcanic activity as evidenced by cone shaped peaks.

In this article I read, “These images led to a sudden discovery beneath the dense poisonous clouds of Venus. All this time there has been active volcanos on Venus, this ground-breaking discovery changes our understanding of not only Venus but also of other planets in our solar system.”,
as if this volcanic activity is current news.

    Have a good day
