The COVID cart is in front of the horse

Before investing reputations, company, investment capital and time developing diagnostic tests and vaccines, not to mention re-structuring societies and the world economy, one would think that business people and scientists would want to know the CAUSE of this pandemic.

So far, the standard methods of virology (which have been used for many decades to prove the CAUSE of an infectious disease) have not been fulfilled for SARS CoV-2 (aka COVID-19 aka the China or Wuhan virus.) At least my literature search has not found that report. One standard protocol has 4 steps, the second has 6 steps. Most of those steps have not been fulfilled.

So far, SARS CoV-2 is associated /correlated with this disease and pandemic. CoV-2 could easily be a follow-on infection after the immune system is wrecked by pneumonia, cancer, chemotherapy, and many other chronic diseases.
