Study: SARS Vaccines Shown to Cause Lung Disease

As far back as 2012 scientific research had shown that vaccines created to defeat coronavirus are liable to cause lung disease in the recipient of the vaccine. The findings are from a peer-reviewed study published in the Journal Plos One.

The 2012 study explains that the pathogen, acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) emerged in China in 2002 and spread to other countries before brought under control. The 2019 COVID19 pandemic is due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, a direct relation of the coronavirus pathogen tested in the 2012 study.

The authors wrote:

“Because of a concern for reemergence or a deliberate release of the SARS coronavirus, vaccine development was initiated. Evaluations of an inactivated whole virus vaccine in ferrets and nonhuman primates and a virus-like-particle vaccine in mice induced protection against infection but challenged animals exhibited an immunopathologic-type lung disease.” [emphasis added]

Examining the lung samples after 58 days the authors worryingly reported that:

” These SARS-CoV vaccines all induced antibody and protection against infection with SARS-CoV. However, challenge of mice given any of the vaccines led to occurrence of Th2-type immunopathology suggesting hypersensitivity to SARS-CoV components was induced. Caution in proceeding to application of a SARS-CoV vaccine in humans is indicated.”
