Intellectual Property Is a Racket: How Patents and Regulators Stifle Innovation
I believe patents have become tools of monopoly, not innovation. They protect incumbent power at the expense of progress, and the entire system is built on fraud and serves corporate interests, not the public good.
This isn’t a complex economic debate; it’s a simple observation of reality. When you have the power to own a molecule, a seed, or a gene sequence, you have the power to control the marketplace and dictate the price of life itself.
The modern patent system is a protection racket, and the regulators who enforce it are the enforcers. It’s not just a question of corporate profits; it’s a fundamental threat to human liberty, our food supply, and our very biology. The game is rigged against the individual, and it’s time we called it for what it is.

The Paradox of Intellectual Property
The very foundation of this racket is built on a paradox that has been baked into our system since the beginning. Thomas Jefferson, our first patent examiner, called patents an assault on free markets. He knew that ideas, like the air and the sunlight, should propagate freely for the betterment of all. Yet, we’ve enshrined this assault in our Constitution, creating the only property right that Jefferson — the great champion of liberty — found fundamentally offensive.
Historically, patents were about power, not progress. The first patents weren’t for genius inventions meant to better humanity; they were for stained glass, a product designed to shape light for institutional authority. The parallel to today is staggering. We’ve traded stained glass for mRNA code, swapping one form of institutional control over photons for another over your own cells. This paradox is the crack in the foundation upon which the entire monopoly edifice has been built.
Regulatory Monopolies in Medicine
This brings us to the most dangerous manifestation of the intellectual property racket: the regulatory monopolies in medicine. The FDA and the Patent Office operate as fee-based businesses, not public health agencies. They serve the pharmaceutical companies that fund their existence, not the people they are supposed to protect. Natural therapies are systematically suppressed for one simple reason: you cannot patent a plant, a mineral, or the human body’s innate ability to heal itself.
The regulatory web is airtight. The FDA’s Orange Book ties drug approval to patent protection, effectively blocking any alternative that doesn’t come with a license fee attached. I see this as the engine destroying Western civilization by poisoning our food and our bodies for profit. We spend more on health care than any nation on Earth, yet we are sicker than ever.
Dr. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has pointed out that we rank 79th in health outcomes despite spending $4.3 trillion annually, with 80% going to chronic disease treatment [1]. That’s not a health care system; it’s a profit extraction engine, and intellectual property is its fuel.
Patent Fraud and University Money Laundering
The corruption runs deeper than just high prices. As David Martin explains, most patents are functional forgeries designed to obscure prior art — 93% of them don’t hold up in court. They’re linguistic substitutions meant to hide the fact that the “invention” was already known to humanity, often from traditional medicine or natural processes. And it gets worse: the process has been used for money laundering on a massive scale.
Accounting firms and banks, in what was the largest tax fraud in history, donated worthless patents to universities for massive tax deductions, creating a financial laundering scheme that corrupted our educational institutions. The Bayh-Dole Act turned these universities into weapons of mass destruction, shifting their focus from pure research to commercial speculation [2].
This is the pathway through which black ops bioweapons research was laundered through our ivory towers, and it’s the tragic reason we ended up with a COIVD “pandemic” that was already patented before it even began [3]. The system isn’t broken; it’s working exactly as designed for the few who run it.
The Path Forward: Decentralization
So, what do we do? We must stop relying on these centralized systems. They are rigged against us, and they always will be. Our personal health, our autonomy, and our self-reliance are the only antidotes to this poison. I believe in taking small, tangible steps: grow your own food, learn to heal yourself with nature, and stop expecting salvation from institutions that only serve themselves.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: There’s no white knight coming to save us. It’s time to get off your butt, unplug from the matrix, and build the life you want for yourself and your family. Don’t wait for society to change; change your own reality. Stop feeding the machine.

Niet, comrade. The Constitution only enumerates and protects our God-given rights; it cannot create them. (See the 9th Amendment) I have a right to my own original inventions, just as an artist has a right to his paintings or an author to his writings. If an inventor, in order to make it more available to the world, lisences or foregoes government enforcement of his patent, that’s self-sacrifice for the greater good. If government takes it by force, that’s theft (AKA communism). Patent protection expires in 17 years anyway – the only protection of rights that expires in the Constitution.
BTW, Jefferson only initially resisted patents, before the Constitution. He then realized they incentivize innovation and was instrumental in shaping patent law.
Commies just don’t get incentive. Or history.

Ahhh…the smell of capitalism in the morning! In a different age, it worked well. You could create, invent, destroy and make a life for your family, security for future gens, a comfortable retirement from years of hard work. But if you want to know why your butt’s in a sling now, paying astonishing prices for fuel, food, home – greed. Capitalism breeds it like rabbits ( and every ideology, regardless of their media, uses capitalism!)….to the point now that corporations want EVERY SINGLE THING, every market out there…and their only goal is to control it ALL. And they have been very successful, artificially inflating the price of everything… so they can have more! The Middle Class that built the economy, bought the goods, the homes, created the society, are being decimated…and, for all intents and purposes, CREATED these corporations – will cease to exist if there is no ideology change, if nothing happens that changes the status quo that we’ve all been taught to believe is the best and only right type of government. To stop these modern day ‘industrialists’ from taking over the world completely – with their toxic products that make us and the earth sick, their mass marketing machine so you’ll buy more, it’s going to take a sea change in thinking. Right now, you’re parroting the propaganda of this system that destroys life for 90% of the pop, just as they want you to. Even the have not stand up for it…have you ever asked WHY, when it definitely doesn’t work for them?
So go ahead and pretend that nothing has changed. When you look up one day and see only the poor menial labor jobs and the incredibly rich and powerful with their foot on your neck, don’t say you weren’t made aware.
