GoogleAI Discusses Postma’s Climate of Sophistry

Canadian Astrophysicist and leading critic of the greenhouse gas theory – cornerstone of climate ‘science’ alarmism – Joseph E Postma, gets his argumentation put through Google’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) wringer, with astonishing results

We ran the work of PSI and Joseph Postma through Google’s notebooklm AI, and we were amazed to find that this artificial intelligence system could collate and almost perfectly present and explain the basic science of the climate which so many outside of PSI have failed to comprehend.

Postma. a founding member and a lead scientist at Principia Scientific since 2011, has had his work undergo rigorous examination and peer review over many years. Links to his published papers are at the foot of this article.

Principia Scientific International (PSI) and its many contributors, dating so far back to the “Slayer” days, have spent countless hours and written myriad tomes attempting to convey one simple concept to the cadre of warmists, luke-warmists, and outright hysterical alarmists and fellow total skeptics, that the shape of the Earth and the heat of the Sun matters in climate science pedagogy and in the fundamental way in which we comprehend the basic features of the climate.

Please listen to the following “Deep Dives” on the climate question, as a summary of the decades of work of PSI and Joseph Postma. You will not find a better summary and explanation anywhere:

GoogleAI’s first summary can be heard below:

So many times PSI has presented to the blinking establishment that the sun matters, that the shape of the Earth matters, and getting those wrong and creating a mis-named “greenhouse effect”, which is only metaphorical in meaning, to correct those errors, cannot by logical category lead to valid science.

Anthony Watts denies that the heat from the Sun and that the shape of the Earth matters; Roy Spencer likewise; and Christopher Monckton, and Jo Nova, and Gavin Schmidt, and the American Meteorological Society, and the Planetary Physics journal, and on and on.

GoogleAI’s second summary below:

PSI has the simplest message imaginable on the climate: if your pedagogical foundation is fundamentally flawed and wrong, then you cannot really be concluding valid from that foundation.

The academic foundation for understanding how the climate works is with a Sun too feeble to create any features of the climate whatsoever, as a consequence of creating an energy budget for a flat Earth.

The problem being that the flat-Earth simplification is an over-simplification which fundamentally prevents an accurate assessment of the climate, its most basic feature being that the Sun does indeed create it.

Postma isn’t saying anything that is original or unique. He is just telling us things that any student can learn in any university.

In contrast I am showing something that every student can learn is wrong. And I provide the correction and larger implications.

The difference between my approach and that of Postma/PSI is progress. Describing again and ad infinitum what anybody can learn at any university isn’t progress. Progress happens when people stop ignoring anomalies and seek real-world solutions. The solution that Postma/PSI addresses is that people should get a better education and thereby be less prone to believe popular superstition, like AGW. The problem is that the audience that needs to hear this message is not going to find their way to this forum.

    HI PSI Readers and James,

In 2017 I had written two articles encouraging readers to read Galileo’s well know book about Two New Sciences but as I review what I wrote I do not find I fink I did not call attention to the fact that the publisher, Louis Elzevir, of Two New Sciences had written a preface to a reader of this book which was much later translated to English in 1914 by Crew and de Salvio. In this preface I read: “For according to the common saying, sight can teach more and with greater certainty in a single day than can precept ever though repeated a thousand times; or, as another says, intuitive knowledge keeps pace with accurate definition.”

I call the latter saying to your attentions because I do not believe many writers here at PSI do not distinguish the clear difference between very variable weather and long-term (at least 3 decades or longer) “average weather”. And a more important OBSERVED FACT is that the EARTH has no average climate. For a CLIMATE is very location specific.

    Have a good day
