Fauci publisher has laughable excuse for retailers pulling his book

Senator Rand Paul called Dr. Fauci’s book “science fiction” as it was pulled by numerous retailers after thousands of emails surfaced that allegedly show he knew about “gain of function” virus research at the Wuhan lab.

Paul quipped on Twitter Thursday while sharing a report showing that major retailers were removing the book from their sites: “Oh, I don’t know. I think they should publish it. I love science fiction.

The 80-page book listed for $18 is ironically entitled: “Expect the Unexpected: Ten Lessons on Truth, Service, and the Way Forward,” and was removed from Amazon and Barnes & Noble’s websites Thursday.

The book was prematurely posted for pre-sale, which is why it was taken down,” the publisher, National Geographic Books, said in a statement to The Daily Mail. “The book was developed by National Geographic Books in connection with an upcoming National Geographic Documentary Film about Dr. Fauci. He will not earn any royalties from its publication.

Many critics had accused Fauci of profiting off the pandemic with the book.

In his own words, world-renowned infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci shares the lessons that have shaped his life philosophy, offering an intimate view of one of the world’s greatest medical minds as well as universal advice to live by,” the book’s summation proclaims. “Sure to strike a chord with readers, the inspiring words of wisdom in this book are centered around life lessons compiled from hours of interviews, offering a concrete path to a bright and hopeful future.

The earnest reflections in these pages will offer a universal message on how to lead in times of crisis and find resilience in the face of disappointments and obstacles,” the overview declares.

After Buzzfeed and The Washington Post obtained thousands of Fauci’s emails through a Freedom of Information Act request, Paul has demanded even more loudly that the so-called infectious disease expert be fired.

Paul tweeted on Wednesday after the emails were released: “Told you,” with the hashtag #FireFauci. Then he tweeted: “Can’t wait to see the media try to spin the Fauci FOIA emails.

The Kentucky lawmaker also tweeted: “But even more importantly than being a hero, he was a fraud. A massive fraud. The newly released trove of emails to and from Dr. Fauci makes that abundantly clear.

Paul told Fox News that the emails “paint a disturbing picture” of Fauci and his work concerning the coronavirus.

On “Fox & Friends,” the senator pointed out that the trove of new emails definitively show that Fauci was fully aware that the virus could have possibly originated from the Wuhan lab via gain-of-function research.

He said that Fauci deliberately misled the public on the issue: “He admits in private what he won’t say in public.

Senator Paul has been a vocal critic of Fauci and his mask and vaccine mandates, repeatedly calling them “theater.” He has also lambasted him over the “gain of function” issue connected to the lab leak theory. Paul has unabashedly called him a fraud and a liar. Dr. Fauci has contended almost from the beginning that human contact with infected animals was the most likely origin of the virus but has now seemingly wavered on the issue.

Paul has stated that he is not getting the vaccine because he has “natural immunity” after contracting the virus in March 2020: “Until they show me evidence that people who have already had the infection are dying in large numbers or being hospitalized or getting very sick, I just made my own personal decision that I’m not getting vaccinated because I’ve already had the disease and I have natural immunity.”

There’s something about titles with the word ‘truth’ in them that doesn’t work for me. Do we need convincing right from the outset? If so why? Is there some doubt?
It’s also perliously close to ‘I am the way, the truth and the light’. Fauci had to know so and approve. I’m itching to find a bootleg online copy, for the study in pure narcissism that it would be.

Put the breaks on this guy before he does any more damage. He’s talked aobut vaccinating children as young as 6mos on national TV. Why!!? He NEVER spoke of prophylaxis, (VitC.VitD Zinc) and allowed the demonization of hydroxychloroquine & ivermectin where docs treating patients were having great success. He is not a doctor in the hypocritical oath sense, he is a narrow minded mad scientist with an over inflated EGO. The death and pain at his hands is immeasurable. Will there be any justice? Biden admin won’t even consider firing him. All criminals.
