EXCLUSIVE: Millions of Breakthrough COVID-19 Cases in 2021, Files Show
More than 5 million COVID-19 cases occurred in vaccinated people in 2021, according to U.S. government files obtained by The Epoch Times.
One million vaccinated people tested positive for COVID-19 by September 2021, and another four million tested positive by the end of the year, according to the internal files.
Some Cases Disclosed
The CDC publicly disclosed numbers of breakthrough cases in early 2021. The public health agency said that 10,262 cases were identified through April 30 of that year. But after that, the CDC stopped listing many of the cases.
“CDC transitioned from monitoring all reported COVID-19 vaccine breakthrough infections to investigating only those among patients who are hospitalized or die, thereby focusing on the cases of highest clinical and public health significance,” the agency said at the time.
The new files show that many of the breakthrough cases happened among the “fully vaccinated,” or people who tested positive at least 14 days after completing a primary series. Approximately 4.5 million cases came among that population, including more than half a million in September 2021 alone.
Another 883,222 cases were identified among the “partially vaccinated,” or people who received at least one shot but did not meet the definition of fully vaccinated.
The cases among the partially vaccinated were never posted online.
Cases among the partially vaccinated that occurred in December 2020, January 2021, February 2021, or March 2021 were not included in the files, which were acquired through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Lack of Clarity
With about 140 million Americans receiving a vaccine through the end of 2021, the data indicate about 3.6 percent of the vaccinated still contracted COVID-19, according to calculations by Dr. Harvey Risch, professor emeritus of epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health.
Because of the CDC’s May 2021 announcement, and it not answering questions about the data, the number of cases is actually presumably higher if it kept only counting cases that led to hospitalization or death, Dr. Risch told The Epoch Times via email.
“The breakthrough case counts were likely much larger than these 3.6% described in the FOIA data,” Dr. Risch said. “It is obvious that breakthrough cases were occurring in substantial numbers even in April 2021, at a time when CDC officials were making public statements that the vaccines completely prevented getting COVID.”
On March 29, 2021, then-CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said on television that “vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick.” Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to President Joe Biden, said in May 2021 that vaccinated people became “dead ends” for the virus. President Biden said in July 2021 that “If you’re vaccinated, you won’t get COVID-19.”
In April 2021, according to the files, there were 31,754 cases among the fully vaccinated and 104,783 cases among the partially vaccinated.
Cases began spiking in July 2021, when more than 219,000 were recorded among the fully vaccinated. Across all vaccinated people, cumulative case counts eclipsed 500,000 by August 2021 and one million by the following month.
The month with the most cases was December 2021. In that month, 2.7 million cases were identified among the fully vaccinated, and another 266,736 were recorded among the partially vaccinated.

Seems absurd that the article contains no information concerning the number of cases in the unvaccinated population. Just a lot of red meat for the anti-vax crowd.

Covid is a complete scam . The WHO has admitted the tests never worked . The tests are purposely designed to give in over 80% of cases a false positive.
It was nothing but a main stream media scam .

This is not news
To be fair to th manufacturers, they never claimed the shots would prevent infections, which vaccines never do. But real vaccines create such powerful antibodies that patients never know they have been infected and the infection ws defeated. Not true wit the Covid shot which should not be called a vaccine for that reason.
The manufacturers claimed their shots merelt reduced su ymptoms but there is no way to verify if that was true. We do know that in the US excess deaths and all cause mortality in 2021 did NOT go down from the shots. They did not prevent Covid deaths. Od else they caused as many Covid shot deaths as they reduced natural Covid infection deaths. No one wants to investigate.
The shots were unsafe and ineffective, especially after Omicron showed up and ended the pandemic.

The only scam is false claims that there was no pandemic. Grow up and read the all cause mortality data in the nations hit the hardest.
The Covid case numbers correlated well with Covid hospitalizations and Covid hospitalization correlated well with Covid deaths. At least in 2020, excess mortality in the US correlated well with the Covid death count estimates.
Stop the there was no pandemic malarkey.
Only people who take too many stupid pills claim that and make themselves appear to be fools.

I love the use of that word breakthrough. It implies that there was something that could prevent an infection, there was not.
