The people controlling this system understand that if they can control what you believe, they control everything you do. They don’t need to imprison you physically if they can imprison you mentally. They don’t need to dominate you through force if they can convince you to voluntarily accept your subjugation.
The Poisoning of Body and Mind

For generations, the controllers have been systematically poisoning the population to reduce mental capacity and physical vitality.
