Jens Elo Rytter, law professor at Copenhagen University, said the measures were unlike anything passed in the last 75 years “It is certainly the most extreme since the Second World War,” he told the Jyllands-Posten newspaper. “There have been some powerful encroachments in various terror packages. But this goes further.”
Trine Maria Ilsøe, DR’s court correspondent, said that Danish citizens could face prosecution under the new law if they refused to comply with health authorities’ demands. “It means that you could be sentenced to a punishment if you, for example, refuse to allow yourself to be tested for coronavirus,” she said.
The Ministry of Health will now work with the Ministry of Justice on the details of how the police will work with health officials to enforce their demands.
As well as enforcing quarantine measures, the law also allows the authorities to force people to be vaccinated, even though there is currently no vaccination for the virus.
It also empowers them to prohibit access to public institutions, supermarkets and shops, public and private nursing homes and hospitals, and also to impose restrictions on access to public transport.
Initially, the government wanted to the law to give the police the right to enter private homes without a court order if there is a suspicion of coronavirus infection. But this was dropped after opposition from parties in the parliament.
The parliamentary session was itself affected by the pandemic, with only 95 out of 179 MPs present for the vote, efforts made to ensure that MPs kept a safe distance from one another, and MPs voting by standing up.

And the justification for removing people’s liberties is that a whopping 0.7% of their population tested positive for the virus and a positively apocalyptic 0.012% of the population has been recorded as dying from it. At this point I’m wondering just how far this grand experiment in global authoritarianism will go before there is a massive push back with many a Bastille being stormed. Or will the majority of people continue sheepishly along until the last facade of free democracy has been pulled down and we fully embrace the new order’s wonderful mix of neo feudalism and Soviet era communism.

This clearly proves that voting is futile. The only way we can accommodate change, is the french way, by way of the guillotine. They didn’t learn their lesson last time around, let make sure they get a refresh. Lets given them the refresh they want, just on our terms.

It is staggering to see that Denmark, one of the most civilised countries in the world has initiated this horror. It will be interesting to see if the Danish people have been so emasculated by their education system that they will lie down and accept this rape of their freedom.

I would say socialist before civilised. It is extremely liberal if you want to say liberal = civilised then would argue maybe indoctrinated by liberal viewpoints does not equate to being civilised. Maybe cultured?

This law was ushered in on March 17th, 2020, NOT in October. Otherwise, the article here is correct (and in the link to thelocal.dk they give the CORRECT date). The government – or rather the people who control it – rushed this law through by manipulating the rest of the parliament. There are many incompetent or ill informed members of the Danish parliament, but BY NOW they have realized that voting for this law was a WRONG DECISIONS, and – as it also says in the article – the new law will automatically be repealed by March 2021. As of September 2020, the Danish minority government has made public their proposal for a new Epidemics Law (the law on the 17th of March was a CHANGE of the existing Epidemics Law). Now, this new proposal is HORRENDOUS in its scope and would turn the Danish minister of Health into a dictator with absolute authority over the Danish people’s lives (if you do not trust me, just READ the damn proposal HERE: https://prodstoragehoeringspo.blob.core.windows.net/3fb27712-0916-41e7-8be6-bdebe101994e/Forel%C3%B8bigt%20udkast%20-%20h%C3%B8ring.pdf )
BUT a) Those Danes who are realizing what is going on are resisting all they can and b) it is highly unlikely that this new proposal will be voted in, since a majority of the other parties, Thanks God, seem to be opposing it and have realized SOME of the horrors (forced vaccination, forced treatment, forced insolation of the “sick”, forced internment) that this law would empower the minister of health to carry out. What remain, however, is that only a very sick mind could even have created such a proposal for the new Epidemics Law and that indeed, very, very, very sick people are currently exercising a high degree of political control in Denmark. BTW, I have two master’s degrees, one in law, and one in political science, and I have lived in Denmark for 49 years, so I am quite well qualified to explain what is going on in Denmark.

As for the current situation in Denmark, it is that a minority (but one of people who are strong mentally and emotionally) are actively and LOUDLY resisting the government’s insame corona-politics (demands for wearing masks in many locations, no more than TEN people to assemble, and LOTS AND LOTS of fear propaganda through TV and mass media). As everywhere in the Western World, the mass media are bought lock and stock and spew out support of the official narrative. Journalists report privately on pressure to conform, “or else”. But EVEN the mass media are becoming increasingly critical towards the government narrative, while the minority are WELL AWARE that our government is controlled by forces that I can only describe as fascist (look only to the Australian state of Victoria or the British region of Wales if you want to see what would be next, HAD those forces the power to dictate it!), and are fighting it tooth and nails. The resistance movement in Germany is even stronger, probably because the government suppression in Germany is much more intense. As in Germany, lawsuits against the Danish state are now being prepared – and most likely, the goverment will lose those.
