COVID Madness In Australia Gets Worse
In New South Wales, fully vaccinated people will be PERMITTED one extra hour of outdoor recreation time, while Queensland builds a quarantine camp.
To say COVID fear is running amok in Australia would be the understatement of the year. Rather than add my own editorial to their announcements, it is much more effective to read their own words. The Premier of the New South Wales directorate (Sydney area) is Comrade Premier Gladys Berejiklian. She has announced a magnanimous position to relieve the stress upon the year long lockdowns. As the Australian news is reporting:
(Via NINE NEWS) […] “From September 13, households living in the NSW government’s LGAs of concern will be allowed to spend an additional hour of recreation outdoors, as long as all adults in the household are fully vaccinated. This is on top of the already-permitted hour of exercise, meaning households will be able to visit a park, Ms Berejiklian said. However, people must take this hour within the current and ongoing curfew hours, which will continue.” [9pm to 5am]
“Outside the LGAs of concern, through the rest of Greater Sydney and regional NSW, five people will be allowed to gather outdoors, as long as all adults are fully vaccinated.”
“People who live alone can nominate one designated family member or friend to visit for companionship. However, “Singles bubbles” will be required to be registered on nsw.gov.au” (read more)
This means that residents must remain inside their homes 22 out of every 24 hours.
Masks are mandatory everywhere outside the home except for when exercising.
Authorized workers must carry a New South Wales essential workers permit and present their papers at each checkpoint during travel or transit.
Papers at checkpoints? Where have we heard that before?
Moving slightly north to the Queensland Directorate, they are proud to announce a new COVID Quarantine Camp being built to the West of Brisbane in a place near Toowoomba.
The nearest hospital is two hours away, but that didn’t stop Queensland’s Comrade Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk from signing a lease on the remote area to build a 1,000 bed involuntary quarantine camp for persons who test positive for COVID-19.
Comrade Annastacia Palaszczuk said construction has begun on Thursday for a dedicated regional quarantine facility at Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba following months of discussion. The premier said the fit-for-purpose facility will be ready by the end of the year and will eventually have the capacity for 1,000 beds.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Thursday the facility does not meet national guidelines but wished the state “every success”.
The federal government has previously said it was not in favor of a quarantine facility at Wellcamp because it did not meet the criteria of being within easy access of a passenger airport terminal or tertiary hospital.
BRISBANE TIMES – […] “The facility, near Toowoomba, would be almost a two-hour drive from the nearest tertiary hospital in Brisbane but could accommodate international passenger flights along with the limited overseas freight that already lands at the site.
Positive patients would be transported either by ambulance or airlifted to Brisbane’s existing COVID hospitals.
Asked if the Prime Minister knew about the announcement, the Premier said, “I’m quite sure he does now,” confirming she had not spoken to him and federal approval was still needed for such flights to be redirected to Wellcamp, which she hoped would come once the “heat” was out of the issue.
“We can bus people from Brisbane up here if we have to,” Ms Palaszczuk said. “If you build it, they will come.” (read more)

The Queensland Premier is refusing to allow Queenslanders to return from interstate arguing that quarantine hotels are fully booked. Despite this, she has now made an exemption for rugby league players, Australian Rules football players, officials, their partners and children and according to news reports, the Indian cricket team. This will enable several hundred people to come to Queensland whilst denying its own citizens the right to return home. The double standards and hypocrisy are never-ending.

You cannot make this stuff up but you can certainly exaggerate the hell out of it.
And Americans in particular are working hard on that count to encourage Americans to believe that they will be under threat if they did not have their guns.
Sydney and Melbourne are two cities in Australia, our biggest cities. In two States. Queensland is on the east coast along with NSW and Victoria and this seems to be the mad edge. Go elsewhere in Australia, particularly in the country, or bush as we call it, and life goes on pretty normally.
There is nothing happening in Australia that has not happened in the UK, US and some countries in Europe. So why exaggerate the hell out of it for Oz?
To say COVID fear is running amok in Australia would be the overstatement of the year. Many of us are not happy with what is happening but none of it is different to what has gone on, or is going on, in other countries. So, let us return to a modicum of balanced, informed journalism please.

It is no exaggeration to say that Australia has become a totalitarian police state. As for a “modicum of balance informed journalism”, no country has experienced more severe and frequent lockdowns, restrictions on movement, right of assembly and free speech than those imposed on the public in Victoria and NSW. The goalposts keep moving. There is no consistency of policy and the public have lost faith in the hypocrisy and credibility of politicians and Chief Health Officers whose edicts such as (NSW) “don’t talk to your next-door neighbour if you bump into them at the supermarket”; (QLD) “Don’t shop on line during a lockdown” and (Victoria) “Don’t remove your mask when drinking alcohol outdoors”. That politicians, movie stars, sports celebrities, their families, etc can travel into and out of Australia and between States, but mere mortal citizens are not permitted to attend serious ill relatives in hospital or funerals, or even return home, is not acceptable and far removed from “life being normal”.

May likely occur at some point, but from what I saw online yesterday, which wasn’t much I’ll be honest, only “2” Truckies turned up, to block a Highway, which lasted an hour before they drove off to protest in a Car Park further down the road?
Don’t get me wrong, this was an MSM news report, but eitherway, what those 2 drivers did was Admirable and Honourable to say the least, but where was everyone else?
A young woman stopped to make a video about driving 300 miles to attend, only to find the Road was totally Clear. She was devastated and in tears.
We’re seeing Zero pushback from the Citizens of the US and a lot are still pushing their “Mass Arrests” of Overlord Scum and the alleged rescue of tens of thousands of Children from below ground, instead. Very little in the way of protests?
Dr. Vernon Coleman released a video yesterday, also. In which he explained about having 3 classes of people in Society, if we don’t Win this War and we’re almost there already?
We Need a Seriously Large Mutiny of Order Followers, but that’s looking very Slim atm, too.

It’s summer here in Australia and if you don’t know sunshine gives you a lot of vit d and enhances your immune system. There’s not much sunshine between 9pm and 5m.
