Climate alarmists downplay or dismiss the Little Ice Age, like the Medieval Warm Period before it, because its existence shows that temperatures fluctuate naturally and always have.
Secondly, it demonstrates that much, or most of the specific warming since 1850 has nothing to do with human beings.
But in this Climate Discussion Nexus “Backgrounder” video, Dr. John Robson shows that abundant evidence demonstrates that the Little Ice Age was very real and occurred across much of the globe.
Additionally, cooling after the early 14th century brought a marked deterioration in weather and a rise in crop failures, whereas climate orthodoxy says warming would cause such things.
