Energy Crisis? Just Wait for Net Zero!

The Iran – US/Israel War has created an energy crisis that is a real wake-up call for the West’s pursuit of Net Zero. We rely on the Middle East for about a quarter of the world’s oil and a tenth of its gas. Even after just a few short weeks, the war’s effects are becoming apparent.

But the Paris Climate Agreement effectively demanded a cut in fossil fuel consumption by now of 50%. The remaining half would have to be quickly cut back as well.

It is all very well to whittle on about wind and solar power. But you can’t make fertiliser out of thin air. Nor power tractors, lorries and shipping.

This Australian farmer’s experience will be repeated all around the world. And that is even before we start to talk about all the other uses for oil and gas. The Iran crisis will be a picnic in comparison with what the Climate Establishment has in store for us.
