Electric Vehicles are the biggest boondoggle in modern history

EVs are the biggest boondoggle in modern history. It is a lie to claim CO2 is pollution. Carbon dioxide actually fertilizes the atmosphere for photosynthesis, a clear benefit—while the lithium in EV batteries is HIGHLY toxic.

One cell phone battery can pollute 3 swimming pools! BTW…if renewables are so good, then why are the Chinese building the world’s second largest economy on non-renewables, and selling renewable technologies to us? Makes one wonder.

A sober 2021 study in the Journal of Cleaner Production—”Comparative life cycle assessment of conventional, electric and hybrid passenger vehicles in Spain“—lays out the damning evidence. Researchers ran a full cradle-to-grave analysis on battery electric vehicles (BEVs), hybrids, petrol, and diesel cars using Spain’s real electricity mix and realistic 150,000 km lifetimes.

The green lobby loves to tout the headline: BEVs cut lifecycle CO₂-equivalent emissions by 48% versus petrol cars today, with even bigger drops expected as the grid “greens” in 2030 and 2050. Big deal. CO₂ is plant food. The planet has greened measurably thanks to it. The real scandal is what the study actually reveals about the other impacts.

Even in current and future scenarios with more renewables, electric vehicles increase fine particulate matter formation by 26%, human carcinogenic toxicity by 20%, non-carcinogenic toxicity by a staggering 61%, terrestrial ecotoxicity by 31%, and freshwater and marine ecotoxicity by 39% and 41% respectively compared to ordinary petrol cars.

Why? Because the burdens don’t vanish—they just move. Tailpipe emissions disappear in the city, but the filth gets shoved onto the mining pits, refining plants, and battery factories. Lithium, cobalt, nickel, graphite: these aren’t harvested from magic fairy dust.

They’re ripped out of the earth in places where environmental rules are lax, water is poisoned, and workers pay the price. The “clean” EV’s soul is dirty rare-earth sludge and toxic wastewater.

The study calls this “delocalisation of the impacts”—a polite academic way of saying we’re exporting our pollution to poorer countries (and conveniently, to China) so we can virtue-signal in the West. The manufacturing phase, especially the battery, carries the heaviest load. Future “renewable” grids help the CO₂ number a bit, but they do nothing to fix the toxicity spike from digging up and processing all that lithium.

And who dominates this supply chain? The same China that’s firing up record numbers of coal plants to power its factories while flooding the world with “green” solar panels, batteries, and EVs. They’re not stupid. They’re strategic. Burn coal at home to manufacture the toys we buy to feel eco-superior. Keep the real energy backbone—coal, oil, gas—while selling us the fragile, expensive, toxic alternatives. It makes one wonder, indeed.

This Spanish analysis isn’t some denialist pamphlet. It’s published in a mainstream “cleaner production” journal and still can’t hide the truth: EVs don’t eliminate environmental harm. They relocate and often amplify it, especially the nasty toxic categories that actually hurt human health and ecosystems right now—not the trace CO₂ that feeds crops.

The EV crusade isn’t environmentalism. It’s a massive, subsidized transfer of wealth and pollution, wrapped in sanctimonious marketing. Time to drop the fantasy. Real engineering, not feel-good symbolism, is what actually improves the world. Lithium isn’t salvation—it’s a highly toxic boondoggle in a shiny green wrapper.

No, vaccination is the biggest boondoggle. Millions have been injured and murdered by vaccine injections, including mRNA poisons. Vaccines are useless for their intended purposes, as these are part of the false belief in viruses.
