Women Transitioning To Men Experience Increased Rage and Aggression
We understand this may infuriate some members of society but we believe the need for honest reporting supersedes mismanaged anger and aggression
Studies have shown that women trans women undergoing testosterone injections and transitioning to men experience increased rage and aggression. This has been known for years.
A previous study from Italy found trans men undergoing testosterone treatment experience varying aspects of aggressive behavior.
This may explain all the threats and beatings.
Via Forbes.
People undergoing female to male gender-affirming testosterone treatment are likely to experience increased aggression — which may be worse if their periods persist.
Creating characteristic male features in people who are transitioning requires testosterone. Increased testosterone has previously been linked to increased aggressive behavior, but has not been widely investigated in trans people.
To find out more, Giovanna Motta at the University of Turin, Italy, and her colleagues evaluated 52 transmen with an average age of 28, before and at least 7 months after they began receiving testosterone treatment.
Testosterone is given with the aim of achieving concentrations that lie within the physiological male range.
This reduces secondary female characteristics — it shrinks the breasts and stops menstrual periods, for instance, while simultaneously increasing male features, such as deepening of the voice and altered muscle distribution.
The team assessed varying aspects of aggressive behavior in their participants, including how often angry feelings are experienced over time, who or what those angry feelings are expressed against, and how they are cooled or controlled.
During the 7-month testosterone treatment, anger expression and anger control both increased. Specifically, there was a significant change in the feelings of anger towards other persons or objects and towards themselves.
The authors of the study say it’s important to note, however, that despite the increase in anger expression, there were no reports of aggressive behavior, self-harm, or psychiatric hospitalization.
They suggest that the increase in anger control may be due to an improved ability to control angry feelings by calming down, possibly because the treatment itself produces greater self-confidence. Regular psychotherapy sessions that monitor the impact of hormonal treatments might also have prevented the onset of aggressive behavior.
Interestingly, participants whose menstrual bleeding continued despite hormone treatment were more likely to feel and express anger in an uncontrolled way compared with those who achieved amenorrhea – one or more missed periods.

Perhaps the testosterone, as an invasive hormone in such quantities is the problem? Just a thought.

Hi Howdy,
I am quite critical of your “admitted” lack of ambition to “achieve”. But despite this I write to point out that you often FAIL as you have now, as you called attention to the hormone “testosterone” over which males have little control. For I see that this male hormone is an integral player in Darwin’s theory of the SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. Which FACT may be commonly overlooked.

Why would I crave ambition when I’ve done what I’m here for? Answer that.
Despite the claim I often fail, you turn to me plenty of times don’t you?

Hi Howdy,
Do you not understand (comprehend) that I just gave you an extreme compliment. I stated you were comparable with Einstein. But given your stated OPINION about Einstein, I can see how my attempted compliment might seem offensive to you.

I can’t help but believe there could be a mix-up in your replies Jerry, and you referred to a reply to me in another part of this article. I value honesty, and I can’t rest if things are not brought to a correct state.
When you said you attempted a compliment, were you referring to this comment: https://principia-scientific.com/women-transitioning-to-men-experience-increased-rage-and-aggression/#comment-84580
Which reads:
“I can do stuff I’ve never experienced before, thus defying Einstein and his theory.” Have you done this the same way that Einstein wrote? “It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
It is in the wrong place and I guess a mistake is possible.
This puts a rather different gloss on things. If that is the case, I apologize. It is not my intention to purposefully put you down. Forgive me.
My later comment does stand though. I do not accept compliments and do not need them.

Einstein wasn’t a very good example of a Pisces then Jerry. The very fact he’s Pisces, means he has (should have) access to sources of knowledge not available to the people at large, a gnosis. I guess he lost his true calling and went with the flow instead.
On the other hand, I can do stuff I’ve never experienced before, thus defying Einstein and his theory.

Einstein is not the yardstick by which all others are judged. My comment stands, Einstein is wrong.
I thought you might skip the Astrology comment, so i’ll give you another. How about an Astrology/Bible merging?
The feeding of the multitudes.
2 fishes and 5/7 loaves of bread. The two fishes are Pisces, a water sign, and early followers of Jesus used a fish symbol above their door as a secret show of allegiance. They were called the “little fishes”. Today, bumper stickers display the same symbol.
Jesus has a connection to water since walked on it, calmed it, converted it to wine, was baptized in it, preached from boats afloat on it, and the spear caused water to flow from the wound.
The apostles were “fishers of men”.
The only way to Heaven, amongst other requirements, is to be born of water, and the Holy Spirit.
So what about the loaves? The opposite sign of Virgo, who represents the virgin mother, Mary.
Virgo is the house of bread, and the virgin carries a sheaf of wheat. Jesus’s body was immortalized at the last supper by breaking bread, and he was “the bread of life”.
Pisces/Virgo is the axis of service. World service.
Cool eh?

Hi Howdy,
This comment might surprise you. For I question Newton’s explanation of semidiurnal ocean tides.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote a very popular and fictional stories about a detective named Sherlock Holmes. And I have read that Doyle stopped writing his popular series because he did not considered his writing to be anything but entertainment to the readers. But it now commonly accepted that Doyle created the forensic science now practiced by law enforcement officers everywhere.
The following are two quotes from what Doyle wrote. “It is a capital mistake to theorize before you have all the evidence; it biases the judgment.” And, “The temptation to form premature theories upon insufficient data is the bane of our profession.”
When Newton wrote his famous book, “The Principlia”, the surface of the Earth had not yet been mapped and European’s did not yet know about the American continents which divided the Atlantic Ocean from the Pacific Ocean. Etc. Etc.
I have learned that more cannot be simple when less will do. So I will wait for your comment.
Have a good day

Yes, I know that is a lesson Jerry, but you made a comment about another post that wasn’t part of the current discussion, thus not able to be taken into account. It wasn’t theorizing.
In the context of the post you made about points as well as failure, I believe my reply (3 strikes) was fair response, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt after finding what I thought you were referring to.
No worries. 🙂

Hi Howdy,
resonance | ˈrezənəns | noun
“Physics the reinforcement or prolongation of sound by reflection from a surface or by the synchronous vibration of a neighboring object.” (New Oxford American Dictionary)
After about 5 years of studying and researching to earn a doctorate degree in physical chemistry, there was a an oral test termed an oral prelim where professors of my majors and minors questioned my knowledge. The professor of my second minor, mathematics, began by asking a question about orthogonal series, a course I had taken but not taught by this professor. And I had no clue about the question with which he began and after maybe 45 minutes I could not have told him, or the other professors (a physicist and three chemistry professors, what two plus two was. Whom I must have convinced that I knew something about their sciences. For after leaving the examination room, I had to wait a long time before I was informed that I had not passed. But neither had I failed.
And in the mean time I learned (from oceanography grad students), that this math professor had only a few common questions for which one could prepare. So I passed the second try.
Now, more than a half a century later I am aware that this mathematic’s professor’s first question was very appropriate. For it is related to the wave behavior of tidal waves caused by the gravity of the moon and sun upon the rotating oceans, seas, and lakes of the earth as related to the phenomenon of resonance.
I have just checked out a demonstration of the critical importance of the timing of the “vibration” (frequency) of a small applied force. Take a rectangular aluminum cake pan and set in on five, or so, straws so you can smoothly and gently roll it back and forth. Place a half inch of water in the pan, give one end a brief, gentle push. Then wait until the wave reflected at the other end returns and give the pan another brief, gentle push. By using this timing it is easy to create a wave which flows back and forth in the pan.
Now, increase the frequency of the brief, gentle pushes and observe what happens.

Don’t need a pan. Interference will develop if the oscillation is too fast. The wave will never complete it’s path across the pan due to finite speed of a wave in water.

Hi Howdy,
So describe in some detail what I saw when I actually did this experiment so other PSI readers will know what all they might .see, discover, if they actually did the experiment (demonstration). A scientist needs to be curious about what can observed instead of reasoning what might be seen. Try explaining why, or how it is, that the Mediterranean Sea has no significant tides.

I’m not a “scientist”.
Honestly Jerry, if you want people to know, let them do it for themselves so they can observe, as you claim is the only true way to know, or tell them yourself if it must be done your way. For true comparability with your result on technical reasons, you need to disclose all parameters, not just water in a pan. That isn’t scientific.
I don’t need to reason the answer, since I’ve seen similar before. Like multiple sound waves that cancel, or reinforce each other, which can clearly be heard in a living room with music playing as one moves around.
Rogue waves are interference of two or more waves that add each others power.
If you don’t wait for the first wave to come back, a second will interact causing the reflected first wave to interfere causing partial cancellation..

Hi PSI Readers and Howdy,
People like Howdy did get us where we are now. Without scientists and inventors, who sometimes used the information which scientists had discovered I doubt there would be videos for you to watch what Howdy tells us we don’t need to actually observe. Like birds need to incubate the first eggs the female lays for there to be any little birds.

You’re unbelievable. I gave 3 links to pages of usefull facts about the question YOU interjected Jerry, not videos. Pity you didn’t even bother to visit them or you would have known.
When it comes to science, there is no point in observing something one does not even recognize. My links help that recognition. Many people actually prefer a video to text, it’s the way they are wired, you know?
I’ll quote your own quote back at you:
“It is a capital mistake to theorize before you have all the evidence; it biases the judgment.” And, “The temptation to form premature theories upon insufficient data is the bane of our profession.””
Some words from a song that you might like to ponder upon:
Give up the fight and learn to surrender
All you’ve gotta do is…
Give up the fight and learn to surrender
You know there’s nothing to it.
