Where Does President Trump Really Stand on Vaccines?

For those of us who work in reporting, researching and publishing about vaccine safety we see inconsistencies in public statements by Donald Trump on the topic. Here we present a summary of the US President’s own words and hope he can be prevailed upon to provide greater clarity.

It is evident that President Trump has been publicly inconsistent on vaccines—sometimes praising Operation Warp Speed and other times questioning it. But in a surprising move, he posted a video warning about thimerosal with the captions “They’re ALL poison. Every. Single. One.”

Trump made his post about revelations from Henry Ford Birth Cohort: Vaxxed vs. Unvaxxed, Reported Vaccinated Kids Had 453% More Neurodevelopmental Disorders — 57% Rendered Chronically Ill

This is the largest vaccinated vs. unvaccinated birth cohort study in U.S. history (n=18,468) and tracked children for 10 years — and revealed staggering increases in chronic disease among the vaccinated. For more information check out www.thefocalpoints.com

The study findings were devastating: vaccinated children had 200–500% higher rates of asthma, autoimmune disease, neurodevelopmental disorders, and speech delays. In conditions like ADHD, learning disabilities, and tics, there were hundreds of cases in the vaccinated group and zero in the unvaccinated.

By age 10, 57% of vaccinated children had a chronic illness compared to only 17% of the unvaccinated.

This may be the most important vaccine safety study ever conducted.

Did Trump know about the Henry Ford study before it came out? Is his sudden reversal tied to the release of this data?

But here’s the danger: don’t let this moment get reduced to just thimerosal. That preservative was mostly removed decades ago. The real crisis is everything else still in the shots and the insane practice of injecting babies with 25 doses by age one.

So, is DJT shifting decisively on vaccine injury? Just for context, below is what Trump has publicly stated previously:

Recent / More Current

  1. Questioning safety / side effects / data transparency

    • In September 2025, Trump shared a video that promoted a discredited theory linking vaccines to autism. Politico

    • He has called on drug companies to “justify success” of their COVID drugs and vaccines, saying that although many think they are miraculous, “others disagree,” and accusing them of not making results public. He has demanded greater transparency. CNBC

    • He questioned why Pfizer, among others, shows “extraordinary” internal data to him but does not share it with the public. CNBC

  2. Concerns about vaccinating very young children

    • In mid-2021, Trump criticized vaccinating “very young people,” saying “the vaccine on very young people is something that you’ve got to really stop.” He suggested that giving vaccines to young kids — who are less likely to be severely affected by COVID-19 — might be unnecessary. Politico

  3. Hints of vaccine mandates or policies being overreaching

    • He has recently criticized Florida’s decision to drop all school vaccine mandates; he expressed concern, saying there are vaccines “that work” and warning that some policies might suggest that people “don’t need to be vaccinated.” Reuters+1

    • With the administration’s “MAHA” (Make America Healthy Again) report, Trump has supported increased scrutiny of vaccine injuries and calls for investigations into vaccine safety and links to autism. Critics view this as aligning with anti-vaccine skepticism. AP News

Older / Background Examples

  1. Autism / childhood vaccine concerns

    • During the 2015 Republican primary debates, Trump said:

“You take this little beautiful baby, and you pump — I mean, it looks like just it’s meant for a horse and not for a child. … We had so many instances … a 2-year old … went to have the vaccine and came back and a week later got a tremendous fever … Now is autistic.” The Washington Post

    • He has for years brought up concerns (without scientific support) about childhood vaccines causing autism. The Washington Post+1

  2. FDA / regulatory delays and “speed” concerns

    • In 2020, Trump accused the FDA of delaying coronavirus vaccine trials, implying the delays were politically motivated (e.g. so there wouldn’t be a vaccine until after the election). He said regulators were being slow and that he wanted speed. CNN International+2Politico+2

    • Also pushed publicly to accelerate vaccine approval, sometimes sounding skeptical of regulatory processes that he considered too slow or bureaucratic. CNN International+1

So, what should we believe? I would hope that the emerging empirical data proving widescale vaccine injury and low level efficacy will be sufficient for the current US Administration to follow through on the direction Robert Kennedy Jr has taken with MAHA. Not just the United States, but much of the developed world is sick and tired of being lied to, poisoned and exploited by Big Pharma and a day of reckoning is now due.

“we see inconsistencies in public statements by Donald Trump on the topic.”

which gives him plausible deniability, the oldest political trick in the book
