What’s New With ICSC-Canada

A few days ago, we sent the below newsletter to about 500 people who have recently expressed interest in ICSC-Canada. I thought you’d be interested in seeing it too.

  • We are pleased to announce that Dr. Patrick Moore has recently joined ICSC-Canada as a director! Learn more about Dr. Moore here.
  • Our article, The Tories should shape climate opinion, not just respond to it, was published today in the National Post (Financial Post section). The article encourages grassroots conservatives to ask CPC leadership candidates why, if they really support Canadian energy, they don’t contest climate alarmism that is a serious threat to Canadian Energy. The article was also published in 25 other media outlets:
    1. The Province, Vancouver, BC
    2. Kingston Whig-Standard, Ontario
    3. The Sarnia Observer, Ontario

  • ICSC-Canada attended the Canada Strong and Free Network Networking Conference from May 5 – 7 in Ottawa, Ontario at the Shaw Centre. Through our interactions with conservative attendees, we found that the majority of them were supportive of rational climate change and energy policies and did not think that Ottawa’s drastic climate change plans are well-founded. See a picture below of our booth at the conference. Tom Harris was also interviewed at the conference by The Western Standard, discussing climate change and renewable energy policy. You can watch the interview here.
  • Tom Harris met with various candidates from the Ontario Party, which, along with the Freedom Party of Ontario, are the only parties in the province that openly contest the climate scare. He helped them craft climate realist messages for the Ontario provincial election.
  • Dr. Jay Lehr and Tom Harris continue the weekly ICSC radio show The Other Side of the Story on the America Out Loud network, and also publish weekly articles on the site. They recently interviewed energy expert Mark Mills, a Queen’s University graduate, concerning how President Biden’s “energy transition” plans are based on “unobtainium” fantasy. Listen to the interview here or read the corresponding article here.
  • Tom Harris was interviewed on Rebel News on How the radical left hijacked the environmentalist movement. For those without a subscription to the site, you can listen to the whole interview here or watch an excerpt of the interview here.

If you like what you see, we hope you will consider donating to the non-profit ICSC-Canada to help us continue this important work. The climate scare will ruin Canada if we let it continue to dominate our institutions without fighting back!
