What does it mean to be Human in an increasingly Digitalized World
The digital revolution has brought about sweeping changes to human life. Each day new technologies and processes overhaul our previous capabilities, and bring with them new possibilities in every sector of life.
Now a company can have a robot as a CEO, centralized digital currencies are being considered. by powerful nations, and social media has dramatically changed the way we communicate, to name a few examples.
The upcoming 12th annual session of the Global Energy Parliament is intended to look at the major elements of each sector that are being influenced by digitalization, and consider the key questions of what it means to be human, and how that essence can be retained in the changing scenario of digitalization.
We will hold vibrant discussions about the debates within those sectors and examine them through the lens of our role and responsibility on Earth as human beings.
Finally, we will formulate some recommendations to governments surrounding the digitalized future and maintaining our humanity in the face of it.
