We Are All Greeks Now
The entire western world is living in a strange kind of Greek tragedy. In ancient Greece, the rulers for a period decided they would deceive their people by building grand temples to the gods. They would then encourage their citizens to choose a god of their liking and then go their gods temple to worship them, and witness their power at the temple.
In order to gain entrance to these temples, you would need to be “worthy”.
So you would offer your sacrifices to the gods, “outside the temple” https://theculturetrip.com/europe/greece/articles/the-most-beautiful-temples-in-greece/ where a priest to that god would be watching. If your sacrifice of gold, food, animals and other worldly goods was sufficient he would then light then fire in a big goblet outside the temple, sometimes even using the fat from animals sacrificed to help the fire burn.
The priest would then tell those offering the sacrifice that the “great stone doors unmovable by the hands of man, will open to those deemed worthy and only those that make the fire burn brightest are the ones the gods deem worthy.” Or some such other similar line.
The doors of these temples were indeed often entirely un-open-able by the hands of man, because they were gigantic doors of thick heavy stone. Sometimes, those making sacrifices would be asked to open the doors, by themselves, they would be unable to, due to the weight of them. “This God is mighty it has no problems passing through these doors.” “The hands of man are weak”. “Only those deemed worthy by the gods may pass.” Would go the speech.
When the fire burned brightly enough for long enough, the doors would then “magically” open by the own accord, and the “worthy” whom made the sacrifices would then be allowed entry to the temple to witness the insides of the temple and gigantic statues to the gods, as well as other miraculous happenings, which would turn even the most sceptical into ardent believers of the Gods and their powers.
Now, a lot of people are unaware that the Greeks, knew about steam, hydraulics, they could make statues move and could build cranes to lift very heavy objects and even built repeat firing crossbows. One of their inventions, was the steam powered door, which works as per the diagram below. This, was most often found at their temples, to the gods.
So you can see that underneath the temples, were chambers housing mechanisms which worked as shown in the diagram. So what would happen is the priest lighting the fire, the fire goblet would normally be atop a sealed block of air, the air would heat and expand and act pneumatically. If the fire was big enough and strong enough, the air would expand enough and be hot enough to push and heat the water, in a sealed container below.
This water would then expand as well as steam (if hot enough) and fill a bucket by the connecting pipe “L”, which would get heavier and heavier. Once its weight increased to more than the counter weight it was connected to by ropes and a pulley system, “W” above, it would drop as its weight increased, causing the pulleys to wind and open the huge doors above.
Those witnessing this “miracle” above, would not know what had transpired and would become believers in the “powers” of the Gods, as the gods had just moved these unopenable doors all by themselves, with no help from any of its man servants.
The witness would be amazed, this would be one of the greatest moments in their entire lives, to bear witness to the greatness of the gods. Some would gather goods for their entire lives, to make the big sacrifice to the gods, they would hand over everything they had, in the hope they could make an offering large enough, to be accepted entry into the temples of the gods and speak to the gods and witness the gods and do the bidding of the gods.
It was of course, a gigantic country wide scam. Those being scammed believed it was the gods opening the doors because they were worthy, those running the temples, knew differently and creamed lots of food, goods and gold from this cunning scheming “god” enterprise scam.
Inside the Temples
Of course once inside the temples, the scamming didn’t stop. The Greeks could make crossbow bolts fire by themselves, they could make statues move, serve drinks. Make the heads of dragons turn and shoot flames or even switch on and off streams of wine served by the heads of god statues.
There were usually wooden carousels of horses, and the witness would see the horses made of wood, go up to them and inspect them. “Nothing but a carpenters horse” the priest would say and then “wow” magically they would run around in a circle without breathing. “The powers of the gods, can make even wooden horses live” would declare the priest.
Example of such trickery is above. These moving statues, flaming dragons, fountains of wine, repeating self-firing cross bows and wooden horse carousels were all just mechanisms.
There would often also be chambers, connected by tubes, much like a tuba to the mouths of the largest statue dedicated to the god, so that the god could “speak” to his followers and issue them commands on how to live their lives and so on and so forth. Obviously, the words were all that spoken by an actor, in another chamber hidden from the followers.
But the followers, would fall to their knees, cry or jump with joy and have moments of epiphany because they “were chosen and deemed worthy” and “had met and spoke to the gods” and would generally carry out whatever the wishes of the gods were.
It was all quite an elaborate and very well run scam. Exactly like the fake science and lies of Climate Crisis. It is just another modern day extension of this “God” scam.
Until it came to a tragic end of course, not through some great uprising, but through wars, from enemy states, including Goths, Persians and Romans. Persuading the enemies of Greece to raid the temples of the gods, would not have been so hard, if say, you were a builder and you built a Greek temple and maybe didn’t get paid as much as you wanted.
You could just go tell the leader of Persia, build one for him and he would see for himself, then of course, he would have no fear of the gods, in the Greek temple, for he would know the trick.
From the all the wars, destruction and looting of the temples, only a few of the designs and mechanisms remain today. (What raider would fear a statue?)
Belief in the old gods, fell away once the temples were destroyed, how could such powerful gods let this happen to them, so getting new followers proved impossible. Why make sacrifice to a god, only to see those sacrifices be looted by Goths, Persians and Romans?
An entire country of people were scammed, by the elite of that country, those at the top profited greatly, those in the know that built and operated these temple’s had well paid jobs and so had no reason for the “god” scam to end, but a great many people made needless sacrifice’s to the non-existent gods, for what?
For nothing.
Handing over life-times worth of wealth, killing their biggest and best animals to please an invisible force that didn’t exist, an invisible force that could not harm them and could not affect their lives at all.
Today, the Climate Crisis scam, it is just more of the same, except this time instead of the people of one country being deceived, an entire planet of people are being deceived. Being made to believe that a force that does not exist, will ruin their entire lives, if they do not worship this force, if they do not make sacrifices to this force, if they do not obey this force, this planet will suffer great cataclysm. With your false temples being your diet, your home, your house, your job, your work, your entire life, everything CO2 touches.
The false temple is everywhere.
As I have proven many times over, the RGHE force does not exist. CO2 does not have the power to cause climate crisis and any and all sacrifices any one makes in the name of the Climate Carbon God is deluded and defrauded, just as the Greek peoples were, you are too.
Every penny you give to someone to reduce CO2 is stolen, every CO2 tax you pay is needless and achieves nothing, every hour you spend trying to battle a force that does not exist is wasted.
All of Climate Crisis, global warming and RGHE is full on total & complete lies, being imparted by a greedy, arrogant and hateful elite feeding and preying upon an unsuspecting naive, ignorant, brainwashed and manipulated populace.
Same as it ever was really why do people expect it be different now as it was before? Because of voting, because of democracy? Greece was a democracy, or did you forget?
So you see, here in these modern times with internet, space travel, instant coffee & instant money, very little has changed in the relationship of power between the elite and the people, so you see we peoples all over the world, as it was then is as it is in the present, we are all Greek now.

Hi PSI Readers,
You have to read this GREAT ARTICLE by Geraint Hughes. You might find Geraint’s historical scholarship questionable but I have seen the remains and partial reconstruction of the well known Greek temple in Athens. And any people who could erect one of the many STONE COLUMNS had to have had the SPECIAL ABILITIES described by Geraint. This tempe which anyone can observe cannot be questioned.
And I had never read what Geraint just shared with us PSI readers. Thank you Geraint!!!

I don’t agree that the climate crisis is more of the same Greek style scams described here. It is much worse because we have science and education for all, and everybody should be able to recognise the “false temples”.
I have excused past human activity on the lack of knowledge. Why has so much nonsense been accepted – soothsayers fiddling in animal entrails to predict the future, burning and drowning of witches who never managed to save themselves, seances to contact the dead, the Nazi eugenics, and much more? Now we have more accumulated knowledge than at any time in our history, but we are still easily deluded.
The knowledge we use to make things has to be correct otherwise things would not work. But when it comes to using knowledge to make predictions, it is no better than the soothsayers of the past. Many may not know the physics related to the climate scam, but they are also incapable of looking for the evidence that supports predictions of climate change, even when it is explained to them, and it only required a basic understanding of physics. The education system has failed several generations with brainwashing. it is the same with pandemic predictions. Every prediction of deaths made by the likes of Prof Ferguson has been wrong by a huge margin in the past, the first predictions of covid deaths were wrong, and he is still making predictions and being listened to. This is mass educated stupidity backed up by propaganda from the media.
Nothing demonstrates how easy it is to fool people about the climate and CO2 than the various experiments. John Tyndall is used as an example of the first experimenter to investigate the property of gases and I have never seen this reviewed to explain the errors in his understanding. However, the BBC has promoted modern versions with a glass tube, a candle, and a thermal imaging camera. Significantly, no temperatures were measured to confirm what was being claimed, nobody questions this, and the BBC nonsense is believed. Most people will have seen images from thermal cameras of houses showing heat loss, but it does not seem to occur to them that the camera does not measure the air temperature. The same applies to the glass tube with air in it, but when CO2 is introduced it is detected because the camera will detect the CO2. It is why the cameras are used to detect gas leaks in industrial plants. But the camera only uses colour to show the different temperatures and in the glass tube it shows blue, a cold temperature. This is because the CO2 is released from a cylinder of compressed gas and it cools when it expands. Science is wasted on modern humans.

So true Alan, it seems that about 90% of the population is incapable of logical thought. We now live in a clown world going from one scary event to another. Any of us that have been following agw know what a scam it is but if you mention it on the street you get the THEY SAY science as if someone saying something makes it right. Even when you show people of average intelligence how it fails by any scientific bases they refuse to believe it. I’m sure if you took these same people into the chambers below these doors and showed them how the doors worked that most would not believe what you are showing them. This is the result of indoctrination going on in our education systems for decades now. We have lost the ability to think but only memorize what the gods are telling us.

Alan, it is so much worse because you later wrote: “John Tyndall is used as an example of the first experimenter to investigate the property of gases and I have never seen this reviewed to explain the errors in his understanding.“ For it seems you have never read about the experiments of Robert Boyle (1627-1691) and Jacques Charles (1746-1823). And I doubt if you have read of Henry Crew and Alfonso de Salvio’s English translation (1914) of Galileo’s ‘Dialogues Concerning Two New Sciences’ published in the Italian language (1638). For until 1914 no English translation of Galileo’s book, commonly considered the foundation of the PHYSICAL SCIENCES, had been available for nearly two CENTURIES.
That you seem unaware of this early history of PHYSICAL SCIENCE is no one’s fault but your own.
The fundamental problem that a few Nobel Prize Winners have tried to publicly educate ‘modern scientists’ but you seem unaware of their efforts also. But don’t expect me to inform you because I believe (but do not claim to absolutely sure) that you have questioned my comments because of your superior knowledge.

I dunno Jerry, I’ve never heard of that either. Admittedly, I have zero education and I’ve never read books.

Even if you can show the crap is fraudulent, it’s not on the agenda and will be dismissed, marginalized as has happened in “scientific” establishment rather a lot.

So go tell that to the BBC. I’m not sure how you got to it being Alan’s fault for pointing out the BBC peddles garbage and people being indoctrinated institutionally or that changes what he mentions.
Much like when a child is told (or forced) to go to school and spend enormous amounts of time being indoctrinated with false and meaningless garbage, and then later bitches about the schooling system being garbage…but noone else listens or considers it. Because the others read those textbooks, and what they read must be true. They can just ask other people who also read those textbooks for affirmation. And so consensus is established. Who gives a shit about correctness when you have consensus?
It’s not necessarily the child’s fault, given the policies, the material used for brainwashing, the restrictions, impositions, omissions, projections, etc.

Btw, I just want to thank you for having about the best science, aggregator sort of site around.
I’ve “visited” other “science” sites, like phys.org. Until then, I did not know science is predicated on about 99% political and corporate marketing garbage.
