Thanks for the video so many good points. To often people tell us we are being pessimistic when we are really just trying to expose a falsehood like the agw debate,it only takes one experiment to prove it wrong and yet we can’t get any exposure from the msm. I thought that interesting when you said you are just chipping away at the falsehood eventually we will be proven right,hopefully in our lifetime. I also found it interesting what you said about critical thinking in our universities. That use to be what was taught in higher education but now kids come out with pre conceived ideas that they have memorized rather than the ability to think about something for themselves. Thank you for all your efforts in trying to expose this corruption of science.

Thanks, Barry. Having worked in education and with two adult children with very good science degrees it’s helped me appreciate where the flaws are in the system. We need an overhaul that gets us moving away from indoctrination and towards providing critical reasoning skills that apply to a cross section of subject material.

I have not yet looked at this video but I guess my comment will be ok anyway: I think it is sad that science now is what media declares as science. “Listen to the science”? Greta Thunberg science? Facebook science? Twitter Science? Gender science? Consensus science?
Media has hijacked the minds of people. Far to many believe what is said in their twitter/facebook/Youtube feeds. Science on facebook? Tack för det – televerket!

Hi John,
Listened to the entire video even though I do not have much time for videos as a means of communication. But you and Elsa were having a conversation, a good one.and I like to listen to the conversations of others. I see that between the first line I had composed and when I went back to your posting to see what Elsa’s name was, that two other comments had been posted.
So thank you very much for providing the background of which I was not aware and somethings I have read about you I now believe were lies. This because I have about 20 more years of experiences than you do. A what you reported was: Been there!!

Thanks, Jerry. I have nothing but praise for the way Elsa handled the whole project and believe she is an excellent interviewer. I’ve asked her to do more for us. I’m especially keen to have Dr Judy Wilyman and Dr Urmie Ray interviewed as I believe they each have great stories to share with us.

It is great to put a face to the name, but I have a complaint. I found it very difficult to distinguish your words John, Elsa was clear but you sounded like you had your head in a bucket of cotton wool. There appears to be nothing wrong with your diction so I think it must be your microphone. My 85 year old ears are a bit fussy but I can usually manage with hearing aids but this was tough.
As to the content yours seems to be almost a mirror image of my own mind and this explains why I have felt such affinity since discovering PSA. I am descended from the Plantagenet Kings. From Henry The third to me are 23 generations. Therefor in my ancestry there are 8,358,601 other direct antecedents pretty much all from Western Europe ( as far as one can be sure about these things) so I have a strong connection to European culture though I live in faraway New Zealand where, as in your England, at every level of influence every effort is made to denigrate and rewrite our history; always to the disadvantage of these memories and it makes me sick.
As you can see from this note I don’t always follow the usual sort of reasoning but come to similar conclusions to many PSA readers.

Hi John and Doug,
I agree with Doug that I had a hard time understanding you, but I considered it a problem with your much lower pitched voice and my almost 80 ear old ears. I also consider, relative to your voices lower pitch, another possible problem was my laptop’s speaker.
But the accent could have played a role. However it was not as bad as trying to understand an India Indian specking perfectly proper English words which I could hear clearly at a much younger age. As I to more Indian speakers it became apparent they were not speaking a foreign language. And the problem was clearly not their problem but my lack of experience.
