There Doesn’t Go The Arctic Ice Again

Dr. John Robson comments on key items from the latest Climate Discussion Nexus weekly “Wednesday Wakeup” newsletter (https://climatediscussionnexus.com/ne…,

From the Arctic ice supposedly melting faster than scientists expected for about the 43rd time,

the Canadian government being unable to approve an energy megaproject or calculate a subsidy,

the U.S. gas-stove ban-like object meeting a constitutional obstacle,

people who don’t know the seas are full of seaweed,

a cooling upper atmosphere scaring “scientists”,

the BBC trying to avoid the Eemian interglacial,

the New York Times trying to avoid California economic policy,

a call for a mere $192 trillion in climate reparations,

more of Clintel’s critique of the IPCC’s AR6, this time on snow cover,

Dr. John Maunder on the reality of the Medieval Warm Period and a dramatic lack of change in American snowfall.

The Arctic Ice is recovering: https://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/2023/08/. The NSIDC reported “While large parts of the world saw record breaking heat in July, …., Arctic sea ice extent for July was only the twelfth lowest in the satellite record.” It has now become very clear that a) the Arctic is cooling and b) the”Polar Amplification” mechanism proposed by the IPCC is fully contradicted by recent observations.
