The virus loonies may be running out of steam
Remember Alex Berenson, the reality-based reporter on COVID who got banned from Twitter for saying more or less what everyone now admits to be true?
He has his own newsletter, which I read, and I want to tell you about a recent issue.
He is predicting that the crazies have overplayed their hand, and that their apparent strength at the moment may not be what it seems.
Among his points:
(1) Barely 15 percent of children aged 5-11 have been vaccinated. That number is not going to get anywhere near where the crazies want it. Those weird parents who were panicked about a virus that is zero threat to their kids have already raced out to get them vaccinated.
(2) Although we have a handful of examples of mandates for children 5-11, Berenson notes that Democrats aren’t talking about that. It’s obvious even to them that it’s a loser.
(3) How may different federal courts have found one or another Biden vaccine mandate unconstitutional? Berenson: “I believe the answer is ALL. All the courts.”
(4) What are the odds that the Supreme Court follows suit? At this point, overwhelming.
(5) With regard to the boosters, Berenson asks: “Do you know anyone who actually believes the public health authority/media attempt to rewrite history and pretend that boosters within six months of vaccination were planned?”
If boosters do any good, then nobody will need a fourth shot. If they don’t, then once again it’s game over for the crazies. Willingness to take a third shot is far lower than for the first two, and of course for a fourth shot it will be lower still.
The crazies are creating more people for our side every day.
Berenson has more to say, but you get the idea. All is not lost. Keep fighting.
I do have one slight criticism of Berenson. I preface it by reminding the reader that I have promoted Berenson’s material heavily, on Twitter and in this newsletter. I am not a detractor.
But nobody is perfect, and I will say this: Berenson’s strategy of avoiding people who are outside the so-called mainstream, in the misplaced hope that he would thereby be taken seriously by the Establishment, was always doomed to failure, and (as you and I could have predicted) wound up doing him no good in the end.
There is a lesson for all of us in that.
Now, with regard to the mandates:
I do not take the position that you are the world’s worst person if you feel backed into a corner and cannot afford to take the heroic route and resist the mandates. I am not in your shoes and I refuse to condemn you. To do so is uncharitable, to say the least.

i believe the majority of people got jabbed, in good faith – but there will probably be 30-35% that will still go the full virtue signalling hog.
The BBC are trying their best to make this non-virus Omnicom, into something big, by showing full q’s round the blocks of jabbing centres – I believe they are the 30%

Never giving in to the crazies, the communists, democrats, liberals, or joey as long as I am still breathing. By now, if you haven’t seen the fake pandemic for the folly it is, you are pretty much hopeless.

Berenson works and publishes articles in ACS&H, (American Council on Science and Healt), that was a great website whose mission was the debunk myths and lies about health issues. That was many years ago when Dr. Elizabeth Whelan was the director. I used to republish many of its content in our foundation’s website, translated into Spanish, the same way I republish Principia Scientific International articles (I am PSI’s Senior Adviser in South American climate).
I have lost most of my confidence when in March 2020 I wrote a comment in one ASC&H article about alternative ways of treating Covid, either with hidroxychloroquine, ivermectine, or the demonized chlorine dioxide (ClO2) that FINALLY have been shown, all three of them really effective in treating and saving lives, and most useful, as preventives cancelling the need for ARNm experimental shots. ACH&S moderator instantly banned me from further comments until today. I wrote several emails to them trying to have my ban lfted, at no avail. But in many articles that ACS&H have been publishing I find they have become too “politically correct” about Covid-19, and being in favor of vaccination and compulsory vaxxing. Maybe somebody could write a comment mentioning my case and asking for a reversal of that unjustified and somewhat irrational ban.

I’ll be uncharitable. The only reason this has gotten this far is the cowardice and unwillingness to sacrifice. If people had done then what they’re doing now, we would’ve saved a lot of lives, a lot of economic potential, a lot of quality years, etc. It’s high time people worry more about the downstream ramifications of giving in. It convinced them they could get away with more and more, and now many of those people find themselves in exactly the same quandary (and will again in a term of months for Rounds 4 and 5 and 6). This was all avoidable. But then, I know I don’t have any readers to fear offending.
Buck up and face evil. Or else.
