Space Researchers Claims on Life on Frozen Alien Planets
reezing moons – dubbed “Winter Wonderlands” – could support life on them due to their vast amounts of water and icy surfaces. This includes Saturn’s moon, Enceladus, that is covered in ice and snow.
The surface of Mars: could these images prove LIFE exists on the Red Planet?
These images released by NASA show the surface of Mars. They have been pored over by boffins and truthseekers looking for telltale signs that water once flowed on the Red Planet, which would mean that alien life could once have flourish there.
“Although conditions seem inhospitable, researchers suggest that life could thrive there thanks to large amounts of water – which may already be home to microbial life – underneath the icy surface, which can protect beings from harmful ultraviolet radiation and cosmic rays.”
The spokesperson added that their findings pave the way for more potential life to be explored. Dr David Brown, leading the study, said his team will now explore the planets. He added: “These moons represent some of the best chances for life beyond Earth in the solar system, and are environments that we’re very interested in exploring.
“We’re also trying to find more examples of icy moons out there in the wider Galaxy, and it would be really exciting if we do.”
The findings come after a group of NASA researchers revealed they are planning to send a spacecraft to the Alpha Centuari system – where it is believed extraterrestrials may live – in 2069.
