In this video, Jim Dale and Brian Catt discuss a new record for the most consecutive days above 30 degrees in September.

The weather we have been experiencing recently is exceptional, and while some have attributed this rise in temperature to Global Warming, this isn’t the case.

The temperatures are average when looking at the global temperatures for this time of year over the last 30 years. The temperature at the moment is about the same as it was in 1998.

    It wasn’t 30 degrees in these parts of the UK at all, so purely on that, the claim is rubbish. I’m tired of the ‘heat plume’ forecasts that never materialize.

    Still, I guess a 737 at takeoff thrust does knock the thermometer up a bit…
