Sen. John Kennedy Mocks Delusional Climate Alarmist
Senator John Kennedy is a straight-shooting national treasure complete with an incisive wit and dry sense of humor.
He has displayed these talents throughout his time in the senate whether by stumping unqualified Biden nominees and or in interviews with reporters.
Kennedy once again put his qualities to great use on Wednesday when grilling Dr. Robert Litterman, the founder of Kepos Capital and the Chair of the Climate-Related Market Risk Subcommittee of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Litterman was testifying during a hearing to consider “climate-related economic risks and their costs to the Federal Budget and the Global Economy.”
Litterman is a Wall Street globalist and climate alarmist who wants America to bankrupt itself by going ‘carbon neutral’ in order to solve ‘climate change’. Of course, like a typical alarmist, he wants to play softball with the biggest global polluter of all, China.
Kennedy started off by asking Litterman how much it would cost the U.S. to go carbon neutral by 2050. Litterman responded by saying he did not know and then paused.
Staring him down like prey, Kennedy then queried “So you’re advocating we do these things, but you don’t know the ultimate cost?”
Litterman’s response? “Yes, absolutely I don’t know the ultimate cost and it’s very uncertain.”
Kennedy then turned to Douglas Holtz-Eakin from the right-leaning American Action Forum and asked him the same question. Holtz-Eakin responded by saying going carbon neutral by 2050 would cost America $50 trillion.
The senator then turned back to Litterman and asked how much global temperatures would decline after spending $50 trillion. Litterman said this would depend on the rest of the world.
Not satisfied, Kennedy then asked how much global temperatures would drop if Europe and America did their part to lower emissions but China And India continued to pollute?
Litterman’s response? “I don’t know, Senator.”
This complete 2 minute plus decimation was bad enough for Litterman but Kennedy was not finished.
Kennedy then grilled the clueless globalist on if he really thought Chinese dictator Xi Jinping would ever do anything “inconsistent with China’s best interest in the name of global climate change.”
Litterman incredulously answered that Xi understands he has to work with the rest of the world to “address this global problem” and it’s in his best interest to do so.
Kennedy then delivered his final daggers:
“Do you believe in the Tooth Fairy?” Kennedy queried.
“No, sir,” Litterman replied, grinning like an idiot.
“Do you believe in the Easter Bunny?” Kennedy asked.
“No, sir,” Litterman answered.
“Do you believe that Jimmy Hoffa died of natural causes?”
“No sir,” Litterman said.
One would have to believe in all these things to actually think China cares about working with the world to solve ‘climate change’.
China is the greatest threat to global stability and climate alarmists & those of a certain political leaning serve as their useful idiots.

Welcome to the Eddy Minimum the third Grand Solar Minimum since the 1600’s. Currently projected to last to 2055 or about three decades. What does a Grand Solar Minimum look like?

Since the early2000’s, the thesis that it’s the Sun, not us, that’s responsible for global “climate change” has been enormously strengthened by the research of astrophysicist Professor Valentina Zharkova of Northumbria University in the UK. Her research of the causes of cycles of solar activity shows the Sun has a “dual dynamo” mechanism coupled with a “quadrupole” magnetic component resulting in three solar cycles:
*The standard magnetic cycle = ~22 yrs (the full 11 year cycle from high to low, then 11 years low back to high)
*The Gleissberg cycle = ~90-110 yrs, avg. 100 yrs
*The ‘Grand’ cycle = ~350-400 yrs
Moreover, we are now at the minimum of all three, particularly the Grand, which she predicts will last from ~2020 to ~2053 (this is the approximate length of the Grand’s minimum out of the 400 years for the full cycle). Meaning we have entered a three decade-long period of Global Cooling, the opposite of Warming.
She explains this in her paper: Modern Grand Solar Minimum Will Lead To Terrestrial Cooling.
This is a science paper published in PubMed Central, but she explains clearly why and how we are headed for another Maunder Minimum (1645-1710) during which the Thames River in London and the Po River in northern Italy froze regularly, and all of Europe and North America went into a deep freeze.
What could we do about it? We could put a lot more CO2 in the air to begin with. Also, build 25 to 30 nuclear plants for the next 5 years.
Meanwhile – it should be of some solace to those millions of Americans shivering in the cold and dark that at least it’s Mother Nature causing their suffering, and not some depraved evil monster shelling with artillery their electricity grid.
Perhaps at this point we should note the irony that Dr. Zharkova is Ukrainian, graduating from Kiev National University and gaining her Ph.D. in Astrophysics at the Main Astronomical Observatory in Kiev.

Hi PSI Readers,
Since we are aware of the early history of the philosophers who debated in Athens Greece several centuries before ONE AD, I ask: how many 50 or 70 year extreme cold periods had been experienced (observed) there during the period between the death of Socrates (470?-399 B.C.) and the Maunder Minimum (1645-1710 A.D.)? For while one must admit that quantitative thermometers had not been invented before this long historic period, water still froze at 32F (0C) and below.

More on point, in which laboratory has ‘Greenhouse Gas CO2 Theory’ been demonstrated?
Answer: No laboratory. No empirical evidence. No real, reproducible demonstration.
In real science, the proponent of a ‘Theory’ is required to provide empirical and reproducible evidence.
Yet, in ‘CO2 Theory’, all one needs is pretend computer models and a clever marketing campaign…
