(INTELLIHUB) — Apple and other tech companies have sold tens of millions of pairs of wireless earbuds over the past few years which a group of 250 scientists from over 40 countries is now warning may cause cancer.

Wireless technologies are appealing to consumers but may not be safe, experts warn.

The close proximity of the wireless earbuds to the brain may cause significant risk of cancer, as the Daily Mail reports.

According to University of California community health professor Dr. Joel Moskowitz, wireless earbuds “communicate with one another using a magnetic induction field, a variable magnetic field [one] sends through your brain to communicate with the other” which cannot be “great for you.”

The bottom line is, wireless earbuds are essentially still experimental and should not be fully trusted.

Will you continue to wear wireless earbuds despite the fact that over 250 scientists warn they may cause cancer?

Are these the same ‘scientists’ that say that CO2 causes WTF climate may change? Are they the same ones that said that man couldn’t survive going faster than a horse could run? I’m far more concerned about 5G cooking us than some ear buds.

What do they say about the earphone on one side that is wirelessly connected to your mobile phone by blue tooth. they are are probably safer than putting your mobile up to your ear.

My phone is near my brain only while I hold it there. Inserting an always-on radio receiver through my skull is not the same.
