Quakewatch: Seismic Signals & Earthquake Prediction
(H/T: Robert Chondon): Quakewatch.net is acquiring a reputation in the study of pre-seismic signals, and the practice of earthquake forecasting. The Earthquake Prediction Center at QuakeWatch.net is a division of SpaceWeatherNews and is supported by the collective of more than 300,000 “Suspicious0bservers”.
The site declares:
While informational only (not actionable) at this time, this is the beginning of useful earthquake forecasting of damaging events.
Public earthquake forecasting is now open.
Our publications can be seen top right of the page. The current model began real-world operation in October 2016. The video to the right details much of this work, and a TON of confirmation studies and projects in 2017 and 2018.

Methinks one of the more complex challenges we as a society and/or global community face is that related to our culture-bound abilities to assimilate information that threatens our overly conditioned comfort zones aka worldviews. In the Age of Individual Political Impotence we simply do not see how we can positively impact events unfolding politically on a national scale let alone at the scale of science and climate chaos. This is the stuff of Paradigm Change, when what the mainstream, orthodox worldview (what we believe to be true and have been conditioned to believe) comes face to face with a new way of looking at the world / viewing reality. Historically, when paradigms clash, bad things happen.

Thanks for the article. To see how well the model is doing (and how hard it is for a human to track it) go to QuakeWatch.net/statistics
