In this video, we continue to look at Antibodies, first looking at the fact that horse serum, frequently used as a neutralizing medium contains vitamin C which has been shown to eliminate many toxins including diptheria and tetanus but is the serum of choice for antibody research.
We discuss the work of Michael Heidelberger and Oswald Avery in relation to antibodies. Then move on to Astrid Fagraeus whose most important work is repeatedly cited yet extremely difficult to actually get your hands on that supposedly proves that Plasma cells produce antibodies. We explain what antibody titers are in relation to antibody testing.
We finally look at the work of Karl Landsteiner and Merrril W Chase who identified that white blood cells could convey immunity when antibodies could not. Yet, more importantly we look at the ability he uncovered to “sensitize” animals inducing allergies, and creating anaphylaxis in manner eerily similar to how vaccines are administered.
