Pope Blames America’s ‘Irresponsible Lifestyles’ For ‘Climate Change’

When I was growing up and attending Catholic schools, I was taught that the pope is infallible

But then I read Pope Francis’ updated encyclical letter last week, and now I can only conclude that at least this pope is fallible.

In fact, the declaration is so filled with anti-Christian fallacies that one has to wonder whether we have a pope who is actually Catholic.

Pope Francis was full of doom and gloom as he warned that the Earth is “collapsing and may be nearing the breaking point” because of ‘climate change’.

He takes a metaphorical ruler and whacks the knuckles of climate “skeptics” who are preventing the draconian/statist actions that are apparently necessary to cool the planet off.

What comes next for the “deniers”? A knock on the door from the Spanish Inquisition?

The pope has given a new voice to the “blame America first” globalists and denounces Americans’ “irresponsible lifestyles” for the ruination of the planet.

What about China? Unsurprisingly, the pope pointedly gives the world’s greatest polluter a free pass.

He declares that “emissions per individual in the United States are about two times greater than those of individuals living in China, and about seven times greater than the average of the poorest countries.

This is naked appeasement to a country with some of the world’s worst human rights violations. President Xi Jinping is loving life right now.

It’s also intentionally lying with twisted statistics. Yes, the U.S. has more emissions and uses more energy than many other nations, but that is because we produce far more output per capita than all other nations except China.

It’s the reason the United States is the breadbasket of the world. Africa doesn’t use much energy. And that’s why it is a desperately poor continent. The solution isn’t for the U.S. to consume less energy, but for poor nations to have access to much more energy.

As Catholics, we are taught to help the least among us to help end poverty, hunger, and deprivation; but the primary victims of the environmentalists’ crusade against ‘fossil fuels’ will be those in the poorest nations of Africa and Asiadeprived of cheap and reliable power from coal and natural gas.

China, meanwhile, emits two times more ‘greenhouse gases’ into the Earth’s atmosphere than America — but we are the problem, not them.

Worst of all, we now have a Vatican that has aligned itself with the radical “limits to growth” theology of so-called ‘environmentalists’.

The radical ‘greens’ view human beings as the problem, not the solution, contrary to Catholic dogma that there is dignity in every human life.

Has the Vatican forgotten that the more radical voices of ‘climate change’ hysteria have come right out of the sinister population control movement of the 1960s and 1970s when we were told that the world was running out of everything and that the only solution was fewer people?

This movement led to some of the most barbaric government actions of modern times: forced abortions, mandatory sterilizations of women, and brutal one-child policies.

The theology in the Pope Francis letter called “Laudate Deum,” which means “Praise God,” is a direct contradiction of the teachings of our greatest pope in modern times, John Paul II, who magnificently declared that economic freedom and human ingenuity have always been the solutions to our planetary problems and the sometimes winds of change that Mother Nature throws at us.

People, he reminded all Catholics, are the greatest resource.

Another way of saying this is that the Western world’s economic affluence and our advanced “lifestyles” haven’t held back the poor countries or jeopardized civilization.

We have made life on Earth profoundly better for everyone. The pope’s call for energy poverty is a call for everyone to get poorer. That hardly seems to be a very Christian solution.

If ‘climate change’ really is the existential threat that the pope sermonizes that it is, we will confront this challenge the way humans have combated every problem since the days when human life on Earth was nasty, brutish, and short: we will harness human know-how and new-age technologies that will tame Mother Nature’s savage outbursts.

Thanks to the freedom agenda and scientific advances, deaths from natural disasters have fallen by 90% over the past 100 years.

Has anyone in the Vatican told the pope that?

Recently China was putting a coal fired electrical generating plant at the rate of 1/month. India was not far behind them … I am sure the Pope does not live in an unlit-unheated hovel.

      Hi Holly,

I check out authors of articles and even comments. On your website you give the invitation: “Lets Chat” but when I click it I do not discover a live person. So my question is do you have an email address to which you will reply and chat? I live in Salem OR so we might be able to chat in person; I certainly would try to meet you.

If you Google “Jerry Krause. Scientist” you can learn a little about me.

      Have a good day

Capricorn = ‘G’od, John the Baptist, and John Anderson.
Aquarius = Adam, Christ, and Neo.
Spring equinox = Jesus, Neo gets pulled from matrix.
See where this is going? It’s all bullshit.
Jesus is the day/age, which is represented by the current equinox. The title this time was Jesus, but the same character is also kown as Marduk, Horus, MariUtu, Zeus, Deus and Superman.
In 4000bc, the equinox rose in the horns of Taurus, so everyone was forced to worship the bull.
Then it moved to Aries, and it was Marduk, the ram, Moses and Ares.
Then Pisces and Jesus. The fish symbol comes from the path of the sun. Cut the full shape and stack the two wavelength portions.
Now, the equinox is moving to Aquarius, so it’s the ‘New Age’, and Popey boy is mad that everyone is still using Jesus.
Aquarius also happens to be “Man”, 666, and Lucifer (that’s why it’s called the Luciferian Age/Agenda).

Religion is a lie, and every person alive who paid tythe should demand their money back.
Or, if you’re that dumb, jump in on the new lie. They aren’t going to sacrifice Enki (Aquarius), so you’ll probably worship his other half, Eve. This is where the UN new-age movement and “Gaianism” comes in.
Remember the bible, the second coming is where the old worshippers are slaughtered to make way for the new age.
Demand your money back. You acted in good faith, they committed fraud.

The zodiac signs reference the 12 apostles. The tongues of fire, and speaking in voices showing the multi lifetimes lived as different creeds and countries, different ethnicities.

The Sun at the centre of the zodiac represents the finale, the mortal, who dies to become one with God, as Jesus is the example of.
The virgin birth is ‘conversion’ of the mortal. A spiritual birth, thus born again. I’m not referring to Christians and their claims. This is not that. One cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit when It is allready within. This was stated by Jesus.

The two fish tied by a cord represent the soul in matter. One going with the flow, the other trying to get back from whence it came. A tug of war, succeed or fail.

Two circles of Pisces is the Vesica Piscis, which forms a fish. Used as a secret code over people’s doors during Jesus’ day, it still survives on bumper stickers and such. It is sacred geometry. In the Hindu tradition, Vishnu came down as a fish. The whole Bible is full of water references, fishers, and fish. Walking on water, water into wine, the blind man able to see again by using water.
The other used symbol is referring to alchemy. Nothing to do with Pisces, or life at all.

Aquarius is referred to in the bible: “Wait for the man carrying a pitcher of water and follow him onto the house he enters”. The house of Aquarius. Aquarius is the water bearer.
Aquarius is the path to realization of the truth. The journey back from the precipice Humanity is currently on.

Man has made the changes to effect control over the masses, and yet, there is truth Wisenox, you are simply not aware of it.

The pope is definitely NOT a man of science. He’s an idiot if he thinks life style can cause climate change. Since the day this rock got an atmosphere there has one driving force of our climate – our star.

    Cradle Catholic here.
    Revert.
    12 years Catholic school.
We were never taught that the pope is infallible.
The pope’s ‘job’ is to be a defender of the Faith.
Imho we are presently functionally popeless since the hopelessly addled and pathetically ignorant Bergoglio is a hapless Modernist in the mold of the scientism of the Jesuit Fraud Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
The recognized authority of the pope by the Church is only valid when he speaks ‘ex cathedra’ in solemnly written and declared texts.
This has only occurred 3-4 times in the history of the Church, depending how some people count the events. These truths only relate to dogmas of the Faith.
The fallibility of all the popes since Pius XII is only to obvious to anyone.
Yet the laity will save the Church as Blessed Bishop Sheen predicted way back when as he foresaw the storm of modernist corruption suppurating in the church.
May the Almighty have Mercy on His suffering Church which struggles once again, and ever, on the Via Dolorosa.

What strikes this reader is the author’s sense of business as usual, as in the following:

“If ‘climate change’ really is the existential threat that the pope sermonizes that it is,…”
” …we will harness human know-how and new-age technologies that will tame Mother Nature’s savage outbursts.”

What the Pope is sermonizing about isn’t just the orthodox dogma of a new state religion called “Climate Change” but he is also advocating what will actually amount to a return to the Middle Ages for the West. Any westerner who fails to learn the Truth on this vital issue will more than likely do what the masses have done so many times in the past: allow dogma to completely vanquish the Truth. In reality, the existential threat for westerners, in particular, isn’t the “Climate Crisis,” which thousands of heretic scientists are now loudly proclaiming to be a complete hoax, but the new state religion of Climate Change and all the death and destruction it will wrought. Hegemonic religion drove the last dark age just as hegemonic science is driving the next.

he’s the first Jesuit pope. oh, also he refer t Klaus Schwab as a respected “professor ”
Jesuits are famous for their “inner circle” that is allegedly connected to masonry illuminati.
no wonder Jesuits were banned from the church as the church saw them as too strong force. not to mention the not very catholic practices.
he’s been called “black pope” for a reason.
