About the author: Joe Postma grew up in the idyllic farming community of Southern Ontario around its western shores of Lake Huron. He obtained an undergraduate degree in astronomy from the University of Western Ontario, working at the university’s Elginfield Observatory doing high-resolution spectroscopy of stars under Dr. David Gray. Joe then completed a Master’s degree in astrophysics at the University of Calgary studying Cepheid variable stars under Dr. Eugene Milone. Joe has turned his training in astrophysics towards an analysis of the alarming claims about the climate made by modern science, and has discovered a shocking threat to the safety of the planet Earth.

I’m at the start of the book where Joseph is explaining the errors in the science with some good examples. I found myself in agreement with his views on Roy Spencer. The problem with climate scientists is that they are all funded by the governments, and they will not be paid if they say there is no problem. The problem is really the governments, the people we elect to ensure this nonsense does not happen.

John W. Hill wrote the chemistry textbook titled CHEMISTRY FOR CHANGING TIMES for non-science students. Many editions of he book have been published and he has written (I believe) the following in his preface to to the students.
“CHANGIN TIMES: We live in a world of increasingly rapid change. It has been said that the only constant is change itself. At present, we are facing some of the greatest problems that humans have ever encountered, and the dilemmas with which we are now confronted seem to have no perfect solution. We are sometimes forced to make a best choice among only bad solutions to our problems. Nevertheless less, if we are to choose properly, we must understand what our choices are. Mistakes can be costly and they cannot always be rectified. It is easy to pollute, but cleaning up pollution once it is there is enormously expensive. We can best avoid mistakes by collecting as much information as possible before making critical decisions. Science is a means of gathering and evaluating information, and CHEMISTRY IS CENTRAL TO ALL THE SCIENCES.” (Emphasis mine)
And a observable fact is that Joseph Postma has matured during the past 13, or so, years.

CHEMISTRY IS MERELY A CHAPTER IN THE BOOK OF PHYSICS (my emphasis). For instance….more recently quantum mechanics has an answer for what happens when CO2 and H2O and chlorophyll and photons of light come together in a plant cell and produce that O2 that we all love so much.

Have you read about Linus Pauling, a chemist/// Who wrote, in the preface of his introductory textbook (College Chemistry 3rd Ed. 1964).: During the last decade the science of chemistry has continued to change. Descriptive chemistry, the tabulation of the observed physical and chemical properties of substance, is still an important part of chemistry; with each passing decade, however, it becomes possible to correlate these facts in terms of theory in a more and more satisfactory manner.
“The theories of greatest value in modern chemistry are the theories of atomic and molecular structure, quantum theory (quantum mechanics), and statistical mechanics. I believe that the concepts involved in these theories can be learned by the beginning student of chemistry sufficiently well for him to apply them in correlating and understanding the facts of descriptive chemistry. Moreover, the fundamental experiments upon which these theories are based can be understood by the beginning student. The theories in their detailed mathematical treatments can then be studied later.”

The 02 was already in the atmosphere before it became co2.
The plants merely return it.
Our oxygen comes from the chemistry going on in the ozone layer.
