This reminded me of the following article on climate change which I wrote nearly ten years ago. It remains relevant today.

Climate change alarmists have convinced the public something must be done now. The reports are easily debunked as fraud.

The modest and predictable facts of the slowly changing natural world are increasingly dwarfed by the scale of deceitful climate hysteria from posing politicians. Yet again we hear delusional claims regarding the rate of change and the multiplying human casualties of climate change from a 16-year-old climate ‘expert’ at the UN.

In late September, The Weather Channel website published an article about the latest IPCC report entitled The Ocean And Cryosphere In A Changing Climate. This report was released by the UN on September 24^th, and claimed climate change is accelerating, which will create conditions even more catastrophic than had been thought.

A highly qualified and experienced climate modeler with impeccable credentials has rejected the unscientific bases of the doom-mongering over a purported climate crisis.

His work has not yet been picked up in this country, but that is about to change.

An international team of scientists discovered a new way to capture heat and turn it into electricity.

The discovery, published last week in the journal Science Advances, could create more efficient energy generation from heat in things like car exhaust, interplanetary space probes and industrial processes.

After an Australian academic website called The Conversation tweeted, “it’s time to ban climate denial” in the media, UC-Boulder Professor Roger Pielke, Jr., weighed in to show the consequences of such censorship.

Another day, another ‘new’ climate report. This one is something about oceans and ice. There’s nothing new in this report (see commentary from Roger Pielke here, here and here) so what’s the point?

The answer is, of course, that the constant stream of climate reports is an attempt to keep the climate scare at the top of the news.

Misplaced eco-anxiety that kids have about polar bears starts with activist biologists like Steven Amstrup [pictured], spokesperson for an organization devoted to raising climate change alarm – and media outlets like The Guardian who help them spread fears unsupported by scientific evidence.

With all due respect to the profession of mainstream journalism, there is no such thing as rapid, catastrophic “global warming.”

In fact, there are vast land and sea areas that are not warming, which seriously counters publicized statements that the world is suffering from a “global” climate condition.

The nuclear debate continues to put forward large scale alternatives to ‘fossil-fueled’ Society, but has never included a much better option, when it comes to managing the waste and risks. This tragedy is essentially the result of politics, not science, since there likely isn’t a more misunderstood and overlooked element on the Periodic Table than Thorium.

Fridays are rapidly getting new meanings.

From the common abbreviation TGIF, to the recent “Fridays-for-Future” (FFF) demonstrations, right now, yet another Friday-meaning appears to be getting a large crowd of followers – and fast. Actually much faster than the FFF movement; it’s called the “Fridays-for-Hubraum” movement (FFH).

A major scientific paper, which claimed to have found rapid warming in the oceans as a result of man-made global warming, has been withdrawn after an amateur climate scientist found major errors in its statistical methodology.

Scientists say they have found evidence beneath a lake in northeastern China that ties climate change and 500-year sun cycles to ups and downs in the 8,000 years of Chinese civilization.

According to the study by a team at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics in Beijing published in the science journal Nature Communications this month, whenever the climate warmed, Chinese civilization prospered and when it cooled, it declined.
