Nobody? Where are all the scientists I keep hearing about?

        How about esoteric science then?
Anybody ‘raised’ their kundalini? Ascending? Living in 5D? Born again?

        Biblical science?
Is the tale of Jesus true, and if so, why? Who is the Holy Spirit? Why was ‘Adam’, an androgyne, a spiritual androgyne?

          Hi Howdy,

An answer to your question: “Where are all the scientists I keep hearing about?” Maybe REAL scIentists are not interested in “esoteric science.”

You are ahead of yourself, and you believe in God, so don’t tell me esotericism it’s a non-subject.

I could accept that so called ‘real’ scientists as you call them, aren’t interested in esoterics, but for one thing: My complaint was made at the lack of responses to the two types of cell I first posted about, both of which involve chemistry, both of which you ignored. Why so?

If you don’t understand the subjects to any degree, don’t complain, just keep quiet.

    Hi Howdy,

First, I like long lines. You wrote and asked: “both of which involve chemistry, both of which you ignored. Why so?”

I have written several times that I am a physical scientist and that life science is completely different. Forin physical science there are less than 100 naturally occurring elements; while in life sciences there are millions and millions different human cells. So I con’t waste my time and a reader’s time pretending that chemistry can explain anything about LIFE.

For your benefit Jerry, since you are unable to see the obvious…
“Anybody into lead acid battery desulphation?”
Lead acid, using chemicals. Chemistry, and nickel cadmium – ring any bells? Chemical composition?

Desulphation brings about a chemical change. Isn’t that right up your street?
Nobody responded, including you, even before I switched to hidden matters.

I never mentioned life sciences, and you are completely off track, either purposefully, or who knows why. If you opened your mind, you might know.

Never mind Jerry, it’s nothing unexpected (sigh)

        Hi Howdy,
Their are standard methods for recovering metals from batteries. Most involve displacing one chemical with a more reactive one. The problem with Lithium is that is the most reactive.
Jerry has no problem demanding people answer any questions he thinks up but despite his degrees he is ignorant.

I haven’t asked about recovery of metals, Herb, I’m not sure what you are pointing to?

I knew from the first word I posted I would get no response, and I’m fully aware of why, but I thought I would give Tommy’s experiment a go regardless.

    For what it’s worth…

Computer science? Anyone got a favourite linux? Favourite NAS OS?
Most liked server OS? Do you engage in virtual machines, as a hobby or for serious needs? If so, what is your favourite virtual environment.

Tried that for two weeks Aaron. Nice experience.

I was using Lubuntu more recently, but It’s adopted snap, and I don’t want it. I’m interested in AntiX in conjunction with the jack audio system for remote audio. Pretty cool.

    Hi Howdy,

In your fourth comment you began: “You are ahead of yourself, and you believe in God, so don’t tell me esotericism it’s a non-subject.” In your third comment I read: “Biblical science?” Then n the fourth comment I read: You are ahead of yourself, and you believe in God, so don’t tell me esotericism it’s a non-subject.” Now in the your fifth comment you expect me to go back to your first comment: “lead acid battery desulphation?”

    Good bye.

Well. That wasn’t the prettiest start ever, eh?
Credit where due, though. Everyone did stay roughly inside the conversational boundaries as requested.
Personality conflicts aside, I like the idea. Give it enough time and it may blossom into an internet jewel. The world needs more open discussions, not more echo chambers.
It looks like it moderation will not be lacking. I get the feeling that a good idea is to self-moderate. A proverb that stuck in my head years ago, and i paraphrase, “Even a fool is thought wise when he holds his tongue.”
What I mean is, say something stupid, and the response might sting a bit.

    Good day Gentlemen.

    Hi Sunsettommy,

Do you not know (recognize) that PSI has been an “OPEN THREAD, of which people like Howdy and I have taken advantage, for years?

Here is an example. My wife recently brought me two books, by two scientists, from my personal library. and one book (2005) was copies of personal letters that Richard Feynman had written and the other book (1957) was about “the North American Deserts” that Edmund C. Jaeger had written about his and others’ scholarship about these desserts. Clearly Jaeger’s book was a labor of love about the observed knowledge of these deserts.

I conclude that the purpose of Feynman”s letters was to give a reader insight of the unique man Feynman was and not necessary about his scholarship. However, if one goes to a science library, I doubt, but do not know, if either book has been checked out many times.

However,I, a scientist, am reading both books in order to appreciate the LABOR of both men because I know about the life long labor of my science.

    Have a good day

    Hi Sunsettommy,

    Another example: (https://principia-scientific.com/the-corvallis-or-uscrn-site-a-natural-laboratory-part-three/)

If one goes to this link and finds photo 2,, one can read that I daw the sun rising as fire-engine RED disk instead of the-pink color seen in the photo. While this morning I didn’t watch the sun rising I know that it rose as a fire-engine red disk because I saw thin clouds in the west suddenly become reddish as the direct solar radiation was scattered from the water droplets of these colors.

In the past we normally have observed the western sky to become reddish near sunset while while we did not normally see a reddish eastern sky in the morning. And I am aware that an old common saying is “red in the morning sailors take warning.” Howeve, I now see that fair weather commonly follow red morning skies.

Clearly something has changed. Climate? And this morning’s temperatures were lower than normal. Can anyone use this morning’s observations to explain a possible climate change?

    Have a good day
