Massive Discovery Made In The Sahara

Several Youtubers have recently began to put out a hypothesis regarding a possible mega tsunami event that they speculate swept through the Saharan desert.

Among these, is the prominent Youtuber, Jimmy Corsetti from the channel, Bright Insight. A major discovery has been made when attempting to locate evidence to support, or, to disprove Bright Insight’s Hypothesis. It seems like he was right all along. And the implications of this, are huge.

The evidence is simply a very flat piece of land located in Tunisia and it stretches into Algeria. These slides are exactly what people have been looking for, and many more have been found in the northern most reaches of Africa seemingly to indicate that a mega tsunami did in fact sweep through Africa.

Now the question is where is the epicentre of these events and where did the tsunami that hit Africa originate from.

Those “chevrons” you are finding are more likely wind-deposited barchan dunes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barchan). The chevrons are not confined to a channel like the Lake Missoula megafloods. Their direction is entirely consistent with the expected wind directions. The dunes also appear to be very recent, that is any 5000 year old megaripples would have been reworked by recent wind energy, unless they were gravel fraction. I have traversed parts of Morocco (anti-Atlas) and Tunisia, and have never seen a gravel megaripple, but have seen many beautiful barchan sand dunes. Please keep an open mind.
