Lockdowns & Vaccines Had No Impact On Covid ‘Cases’
A new peer-reviewed study of public covid data in six northern European countries (in which I was one of several authors) has discovered that the pre-existing seasonal nature of coronaviruses had more impact on reported covid ‘case’ and ‘death’ numbers than any of the government public health interventions – including vaccinations, lockdowns, masks and travel restrictions.
The scientific study was published in the peer-reviewed, Journal of Clinical Medicine.

The paper was originally written in 2022, so it was a very long and difficult process involved in getting the work published due to its challenge to so many aspects of the ‘official narrative’.
Inevitably, reviewers ‘required’ certain material to be included (such as studies which claimed that lockdowns were effective) so the overall tone of the paper is quite neutral.
However, the summary results shown in Tables 1 and 2 are very clear and explicit.
The most obvious limitation of the study is that it depended on the ‘officially declared’ covid case and death numbers provided by each country of whose accuracy readers of this substack will know we are deeply skeptical.

In the comments on the original version of this article, Dr Mike Yeadon said:
“I don’t agree with Norman that there was a pandemic at all”.
In fact, as I and Martin Neil have been making clear on this substack, we do not believe there was any real ‘pandemic’.
For this paper I was only one of several co-authors, and to get the paper published at all it had to be ‘toned down’ in numerous ways. As early as April 2020 we we were publishing work showing that covid was not the deadly virus as being claimed.
Also, I was always fiercely opposed to lockdowns not just because it was clear that they would cause more harm than good but on moral grounds. Hence, I was one of very few in the ‘freedom movement’ who refused to sign the Great Barrington Declaration because
- I already believed then that the covid threat was minimal (i.e. no pandemic) and
- I was disgusted that the Declaration was still pushing for ‘targeted protection’ – i.e. lockdown – of the elderly.

17 January Update: Here we go again – the same anonymous person, who has done this numerous times before, has submitted a complaint claiming that I (and also Prof Sikora here) failed to declare that we were members of PANDATA.
Even if we were, why would this need to be declared?
In fact, while I – like hundreds of other data scientists – have made voluntary presentations to PANDATA, I have never been a ‘member’ and my name does not even appear on the graphic that appears in the ridiculous article that the anonymous person linked to.
