How US govt wants to take over your child’s health (and mind)
The aim is to provide doctors in schools, bill Medicaid and hide it from the parents. It’s not the nanny state any more; it is the kidnapper state
Need puberty blockers? Contraceptives? STD treatment? Here, have a vaccine while you’re at it. We won’t tell your parents.
And we are making it legal for school clinics to bill federal health insurers directly without your parents ever having a clue.
Trust us, we are on your side. Depressed? Anxious? Maybe you feel like you are the wrong gender? We have counselors waiting.
This was tried in Washington DC a couple of years ago, but only for vaccines.
The DC Council passed a law that 11 year olds and up could choose to receive vaccinations in school, that Medicaid could be billed, and parents would not be informed.
The law was overturned in court. CHD helped pay for that case.
Now the idea is to have the feds fund actual medical clinics in schools where kids would be treated without parental consent and medicaid would be charged directly.
Sounds illegal, but… sounds a lot like One Health. Another Trojan Horse. From the criminal CDC, where else?
