How “Nanobots” Are Transforming the Future

If you ask the average person if “nanobots” or super-tiny robots exist, they might tell you they do in sci-fi movies

Of course, the facts are a little bit different.

As easy as it is to discount these technological marvels as merely theoretical, that would be inaccurate.

They exist, they’ve been used, they’re being used, and to be quite frank, we really don’t know to what extent they’ve already been introduced to the public.

And even if they aren’t “nano” per se, “micro” scale entities are certainly in play.

So without further ado, let’s cover some of the crazy ways “nanobots” are being applied…

1. “Nanovaccines”

2. Targeted Cancer Therapy

3. Biosensing

4. Cell Transport & Release

5. Microbot ‘Swarms’

6. “Assisted Reproduction”

7. Waste Removal

8. Neurosurgery & Neuromodulation

9. Repairing Injuries

10. The Internet of Bio-Nano Things (IoBNT)

Now, just so we’re clear

This is merely scratching the surface. Many of these uses overlap. There are many interdisciplinary and cross-domain applications, whether it’s biomedical and healthcare, energy production and storage, electronics and computing, defense and security, and so on.

At what scale have ‘nanobots,’ ‘microbots,’ and other smart nano-micro scale materials been used? It’s hard to say. However, if you’re a regular reader of my Substack, you already know where I stand.

Particularly as it pertains to the Transhumanist Internet of Bio-Nano Things (IoBNT) and its nefarious uses. Surveillance & Control. Surveillance & Control. And ultimately, the slow but inexorable introduction of Human 2.0.

But only if the evildoers get their way.

Because for every promising application of these nanomachines, good intentions can easily be hijacked. Just think of how many ways these things can be manipulated. Just by switching out the cargo load, you could go from delivering a helpful agent throughout the body or at a targeted location to delivering a slow or quick kill payload.

For instance, something that directly stops the heart. Or say, something that over the years vastly increases the likelihood of cancer, autoimmunity, and reproductive failure.

The methods are there. The opportunities are there. The nefarious agendas are there. And it’s about damn time we took it seriously.

The days of scoffing and dismissing are long since gone…
