My opinion is that homosexuality is caused by the loss of the model of our opposite sex that we store somewhere inside us; in our Mind.
Each of us has within us a “model,” a representation of the opposite sex; this serves for recognition, that is, a man recognizes a woman because within him he has a female model; the same for a woman, she recognizes a man because she has within her a model of the man. This model is compartmentalized and serves only for recognition (you cannot recognize what you do not know).
But, if for various causes, the model, its location within us, is lost, our “Being” (Mind + Psyche) rebuilds it, recomposes it, but this time not compartmentalized, (it has been lost, erased, removed, one no longer knows where to recompose it) but diffused, distributed, extended throughout the person who then identifies with the sex that was previously opposite to him. The person feels himself to be what he previously had as a model of the opposite sex and accepts and convinces himself to be, in his own “Being,” that model.
I don’t know of a remedy, or, better said the only thing that can be done is to accept the person in his new identity; respect him and make his existence his best existence.
