Frequency 12: Neurasthenia, The Redefining of Anxiety and Chronic Anxiety Part 1

In this video, we look at the history of Neurasthenia, we see how it was a diagnosis under attack from its inception, how it was redefined by Freud and other to make it exclusively a psychological diagnosis with no physical causes.

Ironically, we see that modern researchers continued to try to redefine, even citing “White Supremacy” in its origin somehow? Then we see from sources at the time that there was a clear definition for Neurasthenia, we see that Neurasthenics often had alleviation of their symptoms by moving to another location.

Then we switch gears to establish the effects of weather patterns on individual on the positive and negative charges in the air. We see as early as the 1700s it was understood that some people were not affected by electricity but it was also understood that affected fluid dynamics including blood flow.

Finally, we talk about ozone and atmospheric electricity and its effects on human health. The next lecture will look at the first telegraph operators and overlay their symptoms with neurasthenia to establish a firmer connection to electromagnetic fields.
