Entering Hades? An Ideological Subversion of Science

In the summer of 2016 I was invited to assist an Academy Award-winning screenwriter to adapt my first book, Entering Hades, into a screenplay.

Though the final product was never filmed, we had a great deal of fun together, visiting the sites where the true story had taken place and discussing the characters and events.

His administrative assistant was a brilliant young woman who’d recently graduated from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. Though I found her delightful and engaging, I soon began to wonder about her education.

She was apparently unfamiliar with Shakespeare’s plays and she’d never seen The Godfather or other iconic works of cinema. More disturbing were her frequent references to race and gender relations, as though these were somehow defining of the human condition and how it is represented in theater and cinema.

And though she was always friendly and polite, a few of her remarks suggested that middle-aged white guys like me are responsible for all of the problems that have afflicted mankind since the beginning of time.

With alarm I realized that this young woman of high native intelligence—who’d just completed an expensive education at a university founded by two titans of American capitalism—had been ideologically programmed.

Since that summer six years ago, I have noticed that the ideological cancer originating on college campuses has metastasized to all areas of American life. Everywhere I look I see a relentless emphasis NOT on our common humanity and nationality, but on the Group Identities that differentiate and divide us.

While those who have embraced this ideology imply it is a mechanism for bringing us together, in fact their doctrine has resurrected archaic tribal passions—passions that are inimical to Classical Liberalism, the founding doctrine of the American Republic.

In the year 1984, KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov gave an interview with American author G. Edward Griffin in which he described how a Constitutional Republic such as the United States may be destroyed from within through a process called Ideological Subversion. He described the objective of this process as follows:

To change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their communities, and their country.

Sound familiar? The 13:36 minute clip is worth watching in its entirety. Many with whom I have shared it expressed the sentiment that Bezmenov seemed to be predicting what is now happening thirty-eight years later.

Starting in early 2021, yet another division was imposed on American society—the division between those who enthusiastically embraced the experimental COVID-19 vaccines and those who remained hesitant about them. Though I am still in the early stage of researching it, I have discovered evidence that this profound social and political division was predicted.

The Bio-Pharmaceutical Complex that developed the mRNA vaccines—and waged a massive propaganda campaign to present them as the only solution to the pandemic—knew before the arrival of SARS-CoV-2 that a certain percentage of the population (around 35 percent) would be hesitant to receive the experimental injections.

These citizens would—in the estimation of the Bio-Pharmaceutical Complex—need to be bullied and coerced into getting the injections, and censored if they tried to express criticism or concern about the experimental vaccine program.

In the posts that follow, I will explore the reasons why this 65-35 percent division was predicted, and possible explanations (anthropological and educational) for this division.
