Diabetes Shock Report Explained

In this video, Ivor Cummins shares an interview he participated in on GB News’, The Mark Dolan Show alongside Dr. David Unwin who is known for putting type 2 diabetes into remission.

The charity, Diabetes UK have claimed that the UK has reached an unfortunate milestone with now over 5 million people living with diabetes. 90% of these people are suffering with type 2 diabetes which is both treatable and curable and the answer to type 2 diabetes isn’t as complex as most might think.

Dr. Unwin explains that type 2 diabetes is caused by lifestyle and diet and thus can be put into remission if you change that lifestyle but will come back should you lapse into old patterns of behaviour. After years of waiting for a solution, Dr. Unwin decided to pioneer his own approach to the diabetes epidemic where patients are encouraged to cut out foods that raise blood sugar.
