Destroying Climate Alarmist Weather Porn With Facts, Data
On his Fox News Channel program “Unfiltered” on Saturday, December 18, Democratic Strategist Nomiki Konst peddles the typical alarmist line that humans are causing climate change, which is making tornadoes and hurricanes more powerful and dangerous.
To his credit, Dan Bongino likes to have liberals and leftists on his program to debate hot topics.
Unfortunately, Konst is neither a scientist nor familiar with the data on extreme weather.
Bongino is familiar with the data and cited both The Heartland Institute’s work and statements by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change showing that climate change is not making tornadoes more frequent or powerful in the United States.
For the layman, he even put up a tweet from The Weather Channel showing that the US recently set a record for the longest period without an EF5 tornado being detected.
Stick around to the end of this short video in which Konst starts going apoplectic because she is unwilling to believe actual data.
It seems she prefers to trust her feelings than the facts.

I have noticed that most climate debates on news channels between people of differing views on climate have the same thing in common. Neither party offers any evidence for their views. All they have is an opinion.
I would like to see a debate between somebody like Willy Soon and Michael Mann, but it would all go above the heads of most people.

Hi Alan and other PSI Readers,
Here we read an article which claims that actual data is being considered and you seem to ignore this FACT!!!
I claim to have had a near lifetime of studying CHEMISTRY (a physical SCIENCE). And based upon this experience I know that DEBATE has nothing to contribute to the KNOWLEDGE of SCIENCE. The KNOWLEDGE of SCIENCE is TOTALLY AND ONLY BASED upon the REPRODUCIBLE OBSERVED FACTS of the NATURAL WORLD (EARTH) and the NATURAL UNIVERSE. Which pretty much includes EVERYTHING!!!
Have a good day, Jerry

Hi Jerry,
Will you stop repeating this crap.
For eons and even today people observe the sun rising in the east, crossing the sky and setting in the west. At night they observe the stars following the same path and except for a completely insignificant number of stars behaving oddly, the observe fact is that the Earth is at the center of the universe. The observed facts are not the reality. Science does not consist of the data but the understanding of the meaning of the data and the significance of those insignificant misbehaving stars.
Have a good holiday,
Herb.

I like to think that “Earth Changes” are as far beyond mans influence as our life spans are from eternal.
Debate over discoveries in the fascinating field of earth science often stymie further understanding.
Personally I feel the further back in time we can peer towards a beginning, If there is one, the better we can make sense of our present and perhaps the future.
Today we celebrate just such an attempt with the launch of the new space telescope James Webb.
