Despite alarmist claims, LA annual rainfall slowly increasing since 1945

We have already pointed to the “Climate at a Glance” website for those data-involved individuals wanting to see the official US temperature record, but we thought it worth going back to the same source for its precipitation record

Because once again it is important when discussing important climate issues to know how to look it up.

“It” in this case being the average amount of rainfall in Los Angeles in December and January since 1945.

According to the ‘blame-the-fires-on-climate-change’ crowd, LA has been getting drier and drier for decades due to ‘greenhouse gases’ and that’s why the place burned down.

Alas, the official NOAA data says the opposite. The exact opposite:

That purple line slanting upward is what statistical experts call an “upward trend”, upward as in an increase, and climate alarmists call disinformation!!!!!!!!!

For our part we call it data.

And when we’re trying to sort through the noise and conflicting claims on important issues like what caused LA to burn down, we say with the late, legendary and fictional LA police sergeant Joe Friday (Badge #714) “All we want are the facts, ma’am”.

Because once you know how to #Lookitup you’ll find the issues start to get a lot more clear.
