In 1972, The Limits to Growth was published by The Club of Rome, the book suggested that swift human depopulation would save the planet.
In 2018, The Limits to Growth co-author, Dennis Meadows, explained how we need to murder billions of people.
“The planet can support something like a billion people, maybe 2 billion, it depends on how much liberty and how much material consumption you want them to have. If you want more liberty and more consumption, you have to have fewer people.”

It isn’t that there are too many people. We are now in a situation caused by automation and increases in efficiency that there are not enough jobs for people. In addition western economies have been run as a Ponzi scheme for at least 100 years and all Ponzi schemes eventually fail.

Answer is THEY DON”T, just another computer ‘estimate’, just like climate change, covid, the vax, ect

The planet is not going anywhere. Computer models were/are responsible for the “covid” insanity. Weather models are no better.
