Dear ‘Marchers for Science’….
Science is now controlled by money-driven nitwits bereft of scientific acumen, brainwashing the populous at large by the application of the methods of the advertising executive and the marketing manager, as they shoulder one another in their rush and nervous haste, with their evil eye and greedy, their stunted forms and weedy.
In an open letter to three such ‘marching scientists’ Stephen J Crothers writes:

This March is another example of the blind leading the blind. Science is no longer done by means of brains and a laboratory, but be means of mass-media induced mass-hysteria. Here are a few more recent examples:

Brian Cox was in Australia, on television, just a few weeks ago, hosting live transmissions from telescopes in Australia. All he and his mates did was talk juvenile rot, and lounge about literally drinking beer, telling childish jokes as if on Good Morning America. Nothing could be further from science than this drivel.
The cosmologists, led by Professor Stephen Hawking, are spending $100,000,000.00 of Milner’s thoughtless money trying to contact aliens, the same that fly saucers and UFO’s, and kidnap people for vivisection and experiments, because they all come from outer space! They will use radio telescopes all around the world, including the Parkes Radio Telescope. So incompetent are they, that for 17 years the people at Parkes could not tell the difference between cosmic microwave signals and microwaves from the ovens in their lunch room:
