Deadly Viruses Emerging From Melting Ice?
Here we go again. Another prediction of deadly viruses emerging from melting ice.
A few days ago, the Daily Mail ran an article about Russian scientists reviving ancient viruses recovered from the permafrost in Siberia.
This sounds innocuous enough, but the article quickly descended into predictions that future pandemics could come from ice melted from ‘climate change’.
Nine ancient viruses have apparently been recovered from the Siberian permafrost and revived since 2013, dated to between 27,000 and 48,000 years old.
The word ‘permafrost’ conjures up images of ground that is frozen in perpetuity, but in fact it means ground that has been frozen for a minimum of just two consecutive years.
The viruses were found in the Yakutia region of Siberia, where the average temperature is well below zero C. Like many northern Russian cities, it has short hot summers.
The town of Yakutsk itself is known as the coldest city on Earth, with winter temperatures as low as -64C.
The oldest virus was discovered 52 feet below the bottom of a lake in Yukechi Alas.
The article states:
“All nine viruses are capable of infecting single-cell organisms known as amoebas — but not plants or animals.
However, other frozen viruses could be very dangerous to plant and animal life, including humans.”
Could yes, not will be.
The preserved carcasses of Wooly Rhinos and Mammoths have been discovered in northern climes as the Earth continues to warm out of the last ice age, which has caused speculation they may harbour unknown diseases.
However, to date none have been found.
No-one knows if other ancient viruses could cause future pandemics, because we have no evidence they even exist, and any claims about them are pure speculation.
If you have to dig 52 feet below the bottom of a lake to find these viruses, the chances of them migrating to the surface to begin infecting humans are vanishingly small.
This is just an excuse to invoke the Precautionary Principle; making draconian cuts to our standard of living now, because it is possible something bad might happen many years down the road.
Fearmongering for the sake of it, part of the ongoing plan to reduce our rights and freedoms, and exercise ever more control over our lives.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed, and hence clamorous to be led to safety, by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

Thank the Heavens there is already numerous mRNA gene altering injections ready to combat these dreaded dead viruses that somehow always seem to come back to life. I have some inside dope on some crypto that has come back to life if you’re interested. Don’t you worry your little head off…the CDC is on the case should any of those deadly viruses make an appearance. They have tons of practice saving us from a dozen fake pandemics over the last 55 years.

Yes, it is wonderful to see “fear mongering” go off like a rocket again on yet another run at “we need to have WHO take care of us and keep us safe!” Just like pushing a virus that causes the common cold as “the next big thing” because no one realizes that is what the virus actually is, has the under educated and easily frightened people of the world running for their useless face diapers again and getting ready to not be allowed to do anything, yet again, while reviling anyone that says “I have an immune system, and if I take care of it, it will take care of me.”
