Crooked Climate ‘Scientist’ Michael Mann Caught Lying Again!
Infamous data fraudster ‘world leading climate scientist’ Dr Michael E Mann who gave the world the iconic and influential ‘hockey stick’ graph to show man-made global warming ‘is real‘ is up to his old tricks again. This week the court-certified loser was on 60 Minutes attacking President Trump with more lies.
James Taylor reports that Mann appeared on the CBS show performing his usual mental gymnastics. While interviewing Mann CBS’s Scott Pelley quizzed him on Trump’s perfectly correct statement that there is much about earth’s climate that scientists simply do not know.
But know-it-all Michael was having none of it and replied tersely and without blushing that:
“There’s about as much scientific consensus about human-caused climate change as there is about gravity.”
This buffoon still hasn’t learned anything from the legal thrashing given him last year in the Supreme Court of British Columbia in his multi-million-dollar lawsuit against my good friend and colleague, skeptic climatologist, Dr Tim Ball.
Readers may recall that in August 2019 this bald-faced lying pseudo scientist finally got his comeuppance when the judge tossed out Mann’s vanity lawsuit for dithering about and wasting eight years hiding his phony data from the court.
Despite the exasperated judge ordering Mann to refund all of Dr Ball’s legal costs plus interest (somewhere now above a million dollars) the weasel took to Twitter to say he wouldn’t pay. We have been hunting him down ever since and now he’s hiding out in Australia trying to evade the efforts of our debt collectors.
But it looks like the Aussies don’t want this morally-bankrupted trickster in their country either. In the Australian Parliament Malcolm Roberts, Senator for Queensland gave an impassioned speech in which he called out the runaway clown thus:
“You sued Prof Tim Ball – a real scientist – and then in court refused to provide evidence to support your case. Didn’t the court find you in contempt? You failed to provide any evidence yet Professor Ball’s team provided plenty of solid statements from internationally reputable scientists. You are the one in the Climategate scandals who wanted to hide the temperature decline, aren’t you?”
After Trump’s re-election Mann could be facing some serious jail time.
We are urging President Trump to take a long hard look at Mann’s graph, which relied on data from trees on the Yamal Peninsula in Siberia. It shows the data was carefully cherry-picked to fit an agends. Just 12 trees from the 252 cores in the CRU’s Yamal data set were used. But, by contrast, a larger data set of 34 tree cores from the vicinity showed no dramatic recent warming, and warmer temperatures in the middle ages. All left out in the final report!
So much about ‘doctor’ Michael E Mann has been fake for a long time, you see. The proxy tree ring data counting clown can’t break a habit of a lifetime since he had his PhD “rushed through” by Yale in 1998 so he could be slotted into the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in time to peddle his fake graph for their Third Assessment Report (TAR) 2001.
Still wet behind the ears, scientifically speaking, this hard-left zealot for mass population control was installed by the corrupt UN globalist cabal as their ‘Lead Author’ with his tree ring counting circus of lies that humans are “dangerously” warming the planet.
So solid is Mann’s claim about a ‘climate consensus’ that in 2016, he testified before the Democratic Platform Drafting Committee that actual data didn’t really matter because we could actually see climate change happening
For decades Dr Ball and many other academics smelt a rat because they saw that Mann’s doctoral dissertation makes not one reference to trees – which is what is often presented as his specialism – its all about oceans. In Mann’s lavish online résumé you would be very hard-pressed to find the words ‘tree’ despite his accolades as a world climate expert on tree ring proxies!
Investor’s Business Daily dubbed Mann’s performance over his career as a “tree-ring circus” — marked especially by the Climategate scandal. As IBD noted at the time:
Mann was at the heart of the Climate-gate scandal in 2009, when emails were unearthed from Britain’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia. In one email sent to Mann and others, CRU director Philip Jones speaks of the “trick” of filling in gaps of data in order to hide evidence of temperature decline:
“I’ve just completed Mike’s nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (i.e. from 1981 onwards) and from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline (in global temperatures),” the email read.
It was that attempt to “hide the decline” through the manipulation of data that helped bring down the global warming house of cards.
The graph created by professor Mann and his colleagues carefully selected and manipulated tree-ring data to supposedly prove that air temperatures had been stable for 900 years, then soared off the charts — in a pattern resembling a hockey stick — in the 20th century due to man-made greenhouse gases. Mann et al. performed the neat trick of making the Medieval Warm Period (about A.D. 800 to 1400) and the Little Ice Age (A.D. 1600 to 1850) statistically disappear.
As Taylor reports in his article this week, Mann’s description on 60 Minutes of the conclusions of the “scientific consensus” is exactly the opposite of what scientific bodies report.
If Mann think he can evade justice by going on his extended ‘sabbatical’ down under he’s going to be in for a shock when POTUS gets re-elected for a second term. Not only will Mann’s version of ‘consensus science’ be prosecuted for fraud, expect to see further civil claims against Mann to seize his assets for continued non payment of the millions owed to Dr Ball and U.S. taxpayers.

Tidying up syntax while maintaining the fidelity of the author’s style can be quite time consuming so the condition would be that once an article is tidied up somewhat you do not then go and rewrite and restructure the article so we in effect have a whole new article to tidy up and the time I have contributed is wasted.
You have knowledge and insights that are valuable Jerry, but more importantly science is precious to you.

Nitrogen and oxygen constitute, by volume, 99.03% of the atmosphere’s gasses, while the trace gases account for 0.97%, or just under 1% of the atmosphere’s gasses. If we include water vapor (H2O) in the atmosphere, which accounts for, on average, 2% of the atmosphere’s gases by volume, we therefore subtract this 2% from the atmosphere’s gasses, where nitrogen and oxygen will constitute 97.0494%, and the trace gasses will constitute 0.9506%.
Nitrogen and oxygen don’t absorb much infrared radiation (IR) emitted from the ground, and assuming they absorb 100% of thermal energy from the surface, constituting approximately 5% of Earth’s energy budget, we’re left with a massive energy deficit for nitrogen and oxygen, confirming that those two molecules derive their energy from thermal ground/ocean emissions instead, but since the ‘climate change’ narrative identifies such emissions as not thermal but IR, we have proof that the energy being emitted isn’t IR but thermal because nitrogen and oxygen absorb a miniscule amount of IR.
Nitrogen and oxygen obtain 5.1% of their heat energy from thermal energy emanating from the surface…

Since nitrogen and oxygen constitute by volume 97.0494% of the atmosphere’s gasses (when water vapor is included in the calculations making for a more precise calculation), they must therefore retain that volume amount of heat energy, but 18.4 Wm2 only constitutes 5.1% of the Earth’s energy budget of 358.2 Wm2. Nitrogen and oxygen’s absorption of infrared radiation only infinitesimally affects this missing heat energy.
The missing energy levels for nitrogen and oxygen direct our attention to another aspect of the scientific fraud taking place: Misidentified outgoing energy types. IR is assigned an energy magnitude of 358.2 Wm2, and thermals 18.4 Wm2. The opposite is closer to the truth, where IR is assigned 18.4 Wm2, and thermals 358.2 Wm2.
Hence why:

Climate change mechanics conspires to do away with the physics of the atmosphere, where action and reaction is abandoned. When a new gas molecule is introduced into the dense troposphere, dislocation takes place, where if the new molecule is denser than the atmosphere (contains less heat energy), such as carbon dioxide, the gas molecule sinks displacing upwards the warmer nitrogen and oxygen molecules, thereby cooling the area of dislocation. Conversely, if the new gas molecule has more heat energy than the nitrogen-oxygen based atmosphere (such as methane), the new molecule rises, displacing relatively cooler nitrogen and oxygen molecules downwards, which displaces upwards relatively more heat retaining nitrogen and oxygen molecules, thereby cooling the area of dislocation. Thermodynamics in action in the atmosphere that keeps the Earth cool when increased radiation isn’t the new variable introduced.

This guy is amazing after committing what is very serious criminally this guy doubles down on his discredited nonsense. Maybe prison will be the only thing to get this guys’ attention and the public
as well. As a matter of science anyone resorting to consensus has left the realm of science and entered
the arena of public/popular opinion. Unfortunately much of what passes for science today is nothing more than thinly political agendas, wrapped in technobabble. As always thank you for you great articles!
