COVID: UK Gyms Defiant Despite Armed Police Threats to Close
Nick Whitcombe, the owner of Body Tech Fitness Gym and Raw Iron Clothing in Liverpool, UK recently made national headlines after the armed police attended his gym and issued him with a £1,000 fine after refusing to close in response to new lockdown rules.
But defiantly, he fought back and People Power is helping face down unscientific tyrannical government policy.
In a video interview with Brian Rose on London Real Nick Whitcome explains how the science supports his case that physical fitness and proper nutrition is the better antidote against a pandemic rather than unproven and toxic vaccines.

“Last week, Liverpool went into Tier 3 as Northern cities like Manchester and Leeds were also hit with similar measures. The impact on Liverpool has meant gyms, bars and restaurants have been forced to close during this two-week period. Since then, Nick has joined forces with several other gyms in Liverpool to stand up against the Government and has remained open.
Despite the warnings that fines would double every three hours, Nick continues his stance and has been supported by a GoFundMe page called ‘Save Liverpool’s Gyms’ which has raised over £50,000 and continues to rise. This lockdown has been responsible for contributing to myriad detrimental effects to people’s mental and physical health, with male suicide at an all-time high in London, and exercise has been a release for people during these uncertain times. However, Nick has been keen to keep people mentally and physically active by providing members with a free gym kit, and following all the necessary safety measures on reopening.
Yet, laws have prevented people from having the opportunity to access the health & fitness industry, which have also caused stress and anxiety for many entrepreneurs across the country, to which Nick has highlighted the lack of evidence to support the latest measures. From the 22 million gym visits this has only resulted in 78 covid cases as UK gyms account for only 0.38 cases per 100,000 cases according to data from UK Active.
Questions have to be asked about the decision-making of this government, and how they are causing more suffering to entrepreneurs and residents of cities across the country.”
On Saturday, October 31, 2020 UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a full one-month lockdown for the whole of England. But on the very same day, Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford has promised gyms and leisure centres will be able to reopen there on November 9th.
Last week we reported how, in Wales, the data shows the 17-day lockdown in that tiny nation was not warranted because excess mortality rates there were the LOWEST recorded for years.
100 Gym Owners in Wales Set to Defy Further Lockdown Measures
The BBC is reporting that “a group of more than 100 gym owners said they were prepared to break any future Covid lockdown laws without scientific proof they should shut.”
The Welsh Government would not comment on potential future closures.
One gym owner said months of closure had already had a “devastating” impact on members’ mental and physical health, and he feared what would happen if they were forced to close again during the winter.
Ready to break the law
The Welsh Gym Owner Collective, which represents more than 100 owners of independent gyms, said they were willing to do “whatever it takes” to stay open, and had been ready to break the law, if they had been banned from opening on 9 November.
Speaking to the BBC, Group founder Lawrence Gainey said closing facilities had already had a “devastating” impact on members’ mental and physical health.
The BBC reports:
“While people are allowed to exercise outside, alone or with their household during lockdown, Mr Gainey warned bad weather and shorter days would impact badly on people already struggling.
Mr Gainey, who owns Pro Fitness in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, said gyms and sport centres should be classed as essential during the pandemic, and must not be closed at “10 minutes’ notice” as many relied on the routine.
“So many of our members have said it helps their mental health, it’s not just about physical health, we are really relieving pressure on the NHS,” he said. If the science does not support the action that the government is taking, then we will push back and refuse to close.”

The ‘science’ is nothing more than fluorescent green dye:*
Firstly, the PCR amplification tool is an amplification tool, not a test. Secondly, the PCR’s purpose is indeed to amplify up to billions of viral nucleotide sequences if that amount is required, which if a test would count as significant viral load, but since PCR can’t identify the virus being replicated, only able to detect the fluorescent green tag that determines the approximate number of nucleotide sequences amplified, identification is therefore not possible:
“The TaqMan® probe has a gene-specific sequence and is designed to bind the target between the two PCR primers. Attached to the 5′ end of the TaqMan® probe is the “reporter,” which is a fluorescent dye that will report the amplification of the target. On the 3′ end of the probe is a quencher, which quenches fluorescence from the reporter in intact probes. The quencher also blocks the 3′ end of the probe so that it cannot be extended by thermostable DNA polymerase.”

Someone needs to publicize that even the WHO has said that Lockdowns are not called for under any circumstances, except for the truly at risk. Also contact tracing for an infectious virus is completely useless.
