BMJ Editor: COVID Masks ‘Are Useless!’
Professor Carl Heneghan, a professor of evidence-based medicine and editor of the British Medical Journal (BMJ) publication Evidence-Based Medicine, has issued a warning that face masks are “useless” at protecting against infection with the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).
During a recent appearance on British news, Heneghan explained that forcing children to wear a face covering all day long while at school is especially pointless – and many would say harmful – because cloth and plastic have never been proven to stop the spread.
“In the absence of evidence, if you think they should be wearing them, go and talk to some children,” Heneghan says. “That’s what I’ve done and said, ‘What’s the reality on the ground? What’s it like for you in class? How does it feel?’ And I can tell you they hate them.”
“They find it really difficult. They don’t adhere to the guidelines, so, for instance, they go in the pocket to pull them out. That’s a dangerous issue with co-infections and the potential for that to stay infected for a period of time.”
Heneghan believes in taking a common sense, precautionary approach when it comes to imposing interventions like masks that have the potential to cause harm. The government seems to be mandating them willy-nilly using not science but fear and superstition as backing. In Heneghan’s apparent view, this is a mistake.
“So, I think, look, it comes back to at the end of the day common sense. And, in effect, we’re going in two weeks’ time, they’re being told they can remove them,” he says.
“I think, again, the government should start to look cool and calmly at the data, and then think, ‘Where does it have an evidence base and where doesn’t it?’ And that’s all I ever do is say, ‘Where’s the evidence to inform what we do?’ And if it’s lacking, then you have to err on the side of not intervening.”
Heneghan directs the NIHR SPCR Evidence Synthesis Working Group, a collaboration of nine primary care departments across various universities in the United Kingdom. He also directs the Oxford Covid Evidence Services, which oversees more than 400 peer-reviewed publications.
Heneghan further edits the Catalogue of Bias, a consortium of definitions, explanations and examples of some of the most important biases that can affect health research.

That someone of this caliber is speaking out against masks says a lot. As far as we can tell, Heneghan is more in-the-know than Anthony Fauci, who seems to know nothing about public health, hence why he is constantly flip-flopping about the simplest things.
At first, Fauci said masks were bad. Then they were good. Then they were bad again. Now they are good again.
The guy just cannot get his story straight, and tens of millions of innocent children are now having to suffer through the school day muzzled and suffocated.
“The sun kills the virus and it is blatantly stupid and child abuse for these kids to be wearing masks,” wrote one commenter at Citizen Free Press.
“There is no evidence masks work,” wrote another. “They don’t stop infections or transmission of viruses, but they do harm health and may lead to death in immunocompromised people.”
Yet another pointed out that while a mask might block large particles like dust while you are sweeping your garage, they certainly are not effective at blocking microscopic virus particles that pass right through their mesh with almost zero resistance.

It would seem at this point the masks are only a quick way to tell the white sheep from the black ones. I have read countless reports and studies of mask wearing by the general public and not ne of them have anything good to say about the practice and many think it dangerous.

Many of the so-called prestigious journals and medical publications are no longer impartial and independent. Yes, they are highly influenced by big pharma and corrupted medical scientists who only want to be given money for this study or that “special” project. I no longer trust much of anything coming from these journals and papers.
There is no consensus on mask wearing or much of any of the other “fake pandemic” inflicted directives merely designed to control people and not necessarily control any pretend virus. The CDC, WHO, FDA, medical experts and agencies constantly have changed direction and revised their advice with no real scientific evidence or logical backing. Even after 15 months, they still are giving conflicting orders which have become completely meaningless. The lies continue…2 weeks to flatten the curve, 70 million to die worldwide, get an injection and we will set you free, the radical and experimental gene altering therapies are completely safe and effective.. on and on. Trust no one. And especially the TV news and mainstreet social media.

I agree entirely. Humanity does not seem to have looked at evidence very often – omens for animal entails, witchcraft, human sacrifices to appease the gods, seances to contact the dead, astrology and so on, none of it credible. Now a majority believe we can control the climate, proving that education is a complete waste of time. In a period when science should be our guide, we have become more gullible than ever, and it is the scientists who are now the enemy and of course the politicians we elect to supposedly ensure that nothing bad happens.

But gargling with a suitable solution would clear the throat of viruses before they can incubate , spread or transmit. Hot water and 1 tsp of baking soda, Listerine, Betadine. are all top of the line. This was a primary defence practice earlier last century.

Alas Big Harmer won’t get rich on that. This is all about selling vaccines, always has been right from the start….. lots of side-effects? Oh they will have a medicine for those. Killing off the elderly who are expensive for governments of course is the icing on the cake.

While the mask advice (or mandate where I live in Canada) is of dubious value, especially for people not in close contact or small spaces, I’ve learned that a mask isn’t a simple filter. One of the ways it captures particles is via electrostatic attraction (in a dry environment) and another is cohesion. (I can’t find the standards document link now; COVID referencing pages seem to have obliterated it.) So a mask can capture particles smaller than its pore size. That fact doesn’t justify the broad mandate though.

It’s Crazy but I cannot for the life of me comprehend that very few people have twigged that No One wore Face Masks for Coronaviruses pre-2020, or that “COVID-19” has cured other Coronaviruses like Common Colds and Flu, according to ONS data, as often explained on UK Column News.
It would seem that they have re-named the Seasonal Yearly Influenza’s to “COVID-19” in order to “Terrorise” everyone into Submission, turning everyone against each other, as they push their Globalist Agenda’s?
I hear they are going to roll out their Death Jabs in the Schools here, in September? More State Child Abuse in Education.
When we were given our “6x Needles” and Booster shots in my Secondary School, back in the 1970’s. We never had anything explained to us. We were just told to go and line up next to the School Infirmary (a Small Room). I will never know if my Parents had to, or did, consent on my behalf and I bet the Schoolkids nowadays, wouldn’t even think to ask too, in a lot of cases?
Just like with their Twice-weekly Covid Tests?
It is OUR Duty to Protect our Offspring and bring an End to this Child Abuse in Schools, Immediately. Our kids don’t have the same luxury of time, to Wake Up, like we had. They are under Direct Attack, Now and they need Our Help.
