Are we at the dawn of an important moment in earthquake prediction?

In an astonishing turn of events, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) just cosponsored a“climate change funeral” for an Icelandic glacier positioned atop a volcano that is part of and fueled by one of the most volcanically active faults on our planet, the Mid-Atlantic Ocean Rift System (Figure 1).

Almost every week over the last few years we hear about terrible storms, massive flooding, heatwaves, droughts, famines, freak weather events, rising sea levels and the dramatic increase in carbon dioxide, all leading to dire predictions about the Earth’s future climate.

Before moving on from this business of July 2019 supposedly being the “hottest month ever,” I want to pause to take note of some follow-on propaganda fresh out of the Washington Post.

A week ago today on August 13, the Post published a lengthy “climate” piece with the scary headline: “2°C: BEYOND THE LIMIT: Extreme climate change has arrived in America.”

“Hottest month in human history” has a certain ring to it. But some scientists say that ring isn’t true.

The media, always on the lookout for ways to demand action on climate change, latched on to a recent National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA) report, claiming July 2019, was the “warmest on record for the globe.”

Scientists using the “second generation” of genetic manipulation technology have used gene-editing to alter the DNA of breed of cattle so that they supposedly do not grow horns.

At around the same time another group of scientists claim to have injected human cells into monkeys to create chimeras, as in the ancient Greek myths of beings part lion, part snake.

A petition being submitted by hundreds of independent climate scientists and professionals from numerous countries to heads of the European Council, Commission and Parliament declares, “There is No Climate Emergency.”

Canadian Astrophysicist, Joseph E Postma, has risen to the fore among scientists disproving ‘greenhouse gas’ junk climate science and claims CO2 causes global warming.

Postma’s blog, climateofsophistry.com, is rapidly becoming the best forum for serious discussion on the topic.

I posted Part XXIV of this series just three days ago, on Wednesday, August 14.

The subject of that post was the “homogenization” of official historical temperature data, by which the keepers of our official temperature records from ground-based thermometers use the excuses of station moves and instrumentation changes to adjust earlier temperatures downward in order to create an artificial warming trend and make recent temperatures appear to be the warmest ever.
