Australian Psychologist Says Climate Deniers Are Mentally Ill
Hot on the heels of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau saying anyone who criticises his climate polices is mentally ill, comes an Australian psychologist who says the same.
Sky News Australia host Andrew Bolt discussed it a few days ago, and he admits he is also suffering from this mental illness.
He said:
A study of 390 people from psychologist Dr Rachael Sherman shows those who ‘suffer from this disorder’ of not believing climate change are typically older, conservative, and have ‘lower environmental values’.
Sherman does admit to one thing she got wrong: she says she didn’t expect this.
She says it’s contrary to our predictions, but people with high analytical abilities were even more likely to be sceptical.
Dr Sherman did not question why ‘people who are great at analysing things are more sceptical of global warming preachers’.
She says we’ve seen ‘predictions not becoming reality’ and ‘climate change alarmist predictions being completely false’.”
Yes you did read that right.
This psychologist says people who are better at analysing data are more likely to be climate skeptics, and she admits alarmist predictions have repeatedly failed to materialise.
So what does this tell us? That skeptics really are mentally ill, or they are more likely to be able to see through the subterfuge and lies?
If climate skeptics are mentally ill, then I’ve been suffering from this condition since 1990.

When will the Climate Alarmists stop saying that Climate Skeptics are disputing climate change?
Skeptics are disputing MAN-MADE climate change being caused by CO2 released into the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels, NOT climate change itself.

Eradicate carbon every where…crush it….eliminate the vile black evil stuff. If being more perceptive and understanding of the data and the real world is the same as being mentally ill, then they need to step back and use at least a quarter of their brains to decide if reality is better than delusions. If not being mentally ill means you have to be delusional and believe in stuff that is not true and not real, these psychologists should be institutionalized and their credentials yanked.

We really can’t deny climate, or that fact that it changes, as it has done so since the earth has existed. We can however deny that we are causing the changes. We can dirty our water, poison the soil and create problems that will effect our lives but we cannot control the climate. Nature can be a hard taskmaster and whatever we do will eventually be addressed by nature in some way.
